person asked me if i voted for Steven Harper.I told him that I would never give such info over the phone.
He said that they were looking for people to support Mr Harper.and his party. i said that a letter would be the only way I that would even support anyone.I asked him to hang on while I put in my hearing aids as I
was not hearing him properly.......Then he hung up    ...................

Keep getting calls asking for support or if I support Harper!  I would like to see these calls blocked - am not interested.  No problem with Conservatives - just with Harper.

is a Magic Jack phone number.
When you answer this call they ask for you by name & then ask a question about the Progressive Conservative Party. First off #1, Why would Canada's PC Party use a Magic Jack phone? & #2, If they're asking a polical question, why do they need your name? We cut them off real quick when this call slipped through by accident. As a very good guess I suspect the next part is a "free cruise", just pay the tax (& get cleaned out!) Best advice-

The Conservatives wanted my money and told me I'd get a tax reciept for doing so, yeah right!

i get about 3 calls a day from this number. i dont answer and am glad i googled it to find out more about it. getting really annoyed with the constant calls tho.

RMG is the company which handles these calls. They merged with XenTel DM and now are now called iMarketing Solutions - XenTel DM were fined $500,000 by CRTC for previous calling violations in 2010. http://rmgsite.com/contact.php

I received a call from this number - they asked to speak to me, specifically. The woman caller sounded very official. She asked me if I was a supporter of the Stephen Harper government. She then asked me if she could have some time to pose a few questions and even added that this call is being recorded for monitoring reasons. The woman then proceeded to say that the Liberals and NDP want to introduce a health benefit to aid individuals seeking asylum in Canada. That this would affect tax payers. In order to block this from going through parliament, the Conservative party is looking for a donation of $200 with a tax receipt for $150. When I told her that I am in no financial position to donate anything, she then asked for a $100 donation. This is clearly a scam!

See what happens when you support something?  You have to do it forever - it's almost like they have your DNA recorded and you can't get away!  I've had enough of these calls too!  Same with the pamphlets, flyers, political updates, etc.

I recieved multiple calls from this number and informed that they need a donation to support Europe for the Conservative Party of Canada - this is a scam , the next step will be they will ask for your credit card information and they will start making bogus charges on your acct - BEWARE!!!

I'm getting two calls a day and nobody at the other end

I got a call from this number and as I was on the phone at the time I didn't answer it, but noted that they didn't leave a message either!

Every day at about1700hrs. I get calls from 16138010497. What happened to the ""no call list""????
Is there an organisation in Canada that can put a stop to these calls. It is harassment on the highest level..
I think the government should  look into these calls and prosicute the pigs.

Caller spoke French.
I told them I don't speak french!
They continued to speak french.
I told them I'm on do not call list.
They continued to speak french....I told them to "F-OFF"...then hung-up!

I think the only thing more irritating than annoyance calls is getting them in French.

They are people with an agenda that do not deserve the time of day.

So, how do you go about stopping those calls?  Someone should know.  Tell us.
