I received 1-613-932-3493 two times already. When i picked up, but the other side just hung up. Be careful!!! Don't pick up again.

Is anthing that someone can do to stop this number and do something to caller.

This phone number 1-613-932-3493 has been calling for soooo long now I can't remember the last time I was free of this annoying phone call. Same as the rest, if i pick it up noone is there. I am busy with my 3 toddler and I have to run to the phone to see this damn number. I phoned it back one day and it was an answering machine that said it was "Beauty rock"? just phoneing to give me an offer, so I left a message and asked that I would nolonger recieve calls from there business as I am not intereted! Naturally I left my phone number! We will see what good that does.

When I google this number I hear about similar frustrations. I just called 1-800-668-0077 and said I understand this is the # to call to remove my name from your call list.... gave them # - they apologize for the inconvenience and that's done with... Give it a try..

First time ive received this call... Im really annoyed because I just changed my phone number due to telemarketing calls and had it unlisted. But, the calls do not stop.

My wife answered and they said it was Columbia House offering us 5 dvd's for $8.00...no thanks, take us off your list.

This number has called me 6 times daily for the past week. I refuse to answer since with past experience the more you answer the more they call.. Im glad to hear that I'm not the only one who has had these problems, and I'm going to call the number mentioned above..

Had the calls about 4X daily and tonight I finally answered. I'm hoping to stop the constant calling. It was a disney offer of 2 free books and a bookcase. It was Beautyrock and I googled it and it is a telemarketing firm.

I also called the 1-800-668-0077 number and the person on the phone was very helpful to give me information on how to remove our phone number from other telemarketng lists. I asked to speak to the office manager when I called.

They called me atleast 6 times a day. I called back, got a very polite receptionist, and requested to be put on the do not call list. She apologized and within 48 hours I had no more calls from them.

they call ALL THE TIME.  Wake us up when we're sleeping.  Same thing, just hang up.  So frustrating!!!!!!!!!!!!  Ima try that number see if it works...

Ok, so I called, asked to be removed from the list, fine. Then I questioned as to WHY I was getting these calls, and was transferred to management.  They explained there is a problem with their phone carrier, and a pre-recorded message does not get played, hence the hanging up...  I told them they should fix that asap.

Will post back to let everyone know if the calls stop.

I have been recieving calls from this number for about 2 weeks now, usually they call 2 - 3 times a day.  Really wierd because they always hang up when I answer, but my neighbor was over and she answered once and they asked to speak with "Mr. or Mrs. "my name"" Then when she passed the phone to me, there was NO ONE there....... then HAng up.  Freaks me right out, I have 8 month old and 3 year old, am a single mom and it really pisses me off.  I will try calling the 1 800 number mentioned above.  Hopefully we can put an end to this insane freakish ghost caller.

J'ai finalement réussi à les rejoindre, mais bien entendu, je suis tombé sur leur boîte vocale. Je leur ai laissé un message on ne peut pas être plus clair, leur demandant de me "ficher" la paix. J'espère que ça va marcher. Peut-on faire quelque chose contre ce numéro? Je pense très sérieusement à impliquer mon fournisseur de service téléphonique dans un plainte contre cet compagnie (Beauty Rock).

they've called 7 times in the last 5 days more than once a day sometimes, all it does is hang up.  I am also a mother of 14 month old twins and it is a frustration when u run to the phone and no one is there.

First time home in a long time

Hey looking at the comments it seems that someone knows that we all have young children. I also have newborn and a 2yr old and i'm getting phone calls from this number at least 2x a day for the last few weeks....But on my cell #.  Someone is giving our info out and selling it!!! The only places that i give out my cell # to is for emergency contact like the Hospital that i gave birth in or the bank....Makes me wonder if the Hospital or someone from the Hospital is selling out our contact info?!!!

I'm going to give the 1-800-668-0077 a try.
Post reply later to see if works.  AND i'm going to find out where these telemarketers are getting my cell #.  I also got Canadian Baby Photographers calling my cell # and Children's Education Fund people.

If you do receive phone calls from 613-932-3493, just use
the 1-800-668-0077 number  its a telemarketer compagny, but notices that it takes 24 hours for them to take out your phone number. But don't forget the magic words : TAKE ME OFF YOUR LIST.
Also these magic words work for all kinds of telemarketers.

This number just called me so I checked it out and it is funny because I use to work at Beautyrock. They work on an automatic dialer by a computer So it's not someone hanging up on you on purpose. I understand it can be frustrating since most of us do have young children. Beautyrock calls on behave of Companies like Grolier Books, Disney, Scholastic and Columbia House.  They only call past customers except for the Disney Baby books. If you signed up for stuff for your baby, they probably got your name and number from there. They are great books, You do get free books, and you are not obligated to buy anything over the phone but, ofcourse if you are not interested it is easy to get your name and number off the list by calling the number mentioned above.

I have been getting calls on my cell phone from this number as well.  I do not have any small but have received numerous calls from Canadian baby photographers, RESP companies., etc.  Where do they get their numbers from??  I've left a message to have my cell# removed but I'll also try the 1-800 number - it's worth a try.
