    When answered, I get "Wait for an important message" repeatedly.  Finally somebody answered and she ask for my daughter.  I said she wasn't home.  She asked for her cell phone number.  I said I don't give out her cell phone number.  I asked what is this about and why are you calling this early in the morning.  She hung up!  I blocked the number

    It is a call for collections by Discover, generally overdue balance. I had talked to them days before explaining my unique serious medical condition but they will still call

    They call early in the morning and hang up many times. We called them back a male answer the phone and they say they are from DISCOVER CARD and say my wife had behide payment. My wife has not any DISCCOVERY CARD. I think somebody try to steal people ID.

    Hey, "nicky" if you are from discover card calling for an overdue balance why don't you dial the number your self and talk to the people your self instead of having a machine say "wait for an important message." I think I know why it is because you are phising for IDs from someone to steal. If not then prove it hear at this posting...

    They have a machine/computer that goes down a list and auto-dials/calls the numbers and when they get a live person then the call center gets the line. They don't go down a list and call people like they were sitting at their desk and punching in numbers.
    I just got a call from them here at our office for a co-worker. I hang up on the machines, but this was a live person.

    So far from 8 am to 10 am have received 9 calls from 614 283 1942.  Certainly are persistant cusses.  Maybe I should have them out trying to collect my receivables!

    They start at 6 am and end at 10 pm 7 days a week if the card holder is even 2 days late.
    They will continue to call even after one has returned the call though one is told by the Discover staff they will only start up again after 5 days, I have had them start up again in 5 minutes.  
    I have received upwards of 50 calls a day from Discover when late on payment

    Report this to the FCC! They are not allowed to call during those hours.The act states, "However, a debt collector may not contact you at inconvenient times or places, such as before 8 a.m. or after 9 p.m., unless you agree."     "cortney" called and asked for my daughter but did not identify herself,when asked why she needed to talk to my daughter all she would say was"it is business".she demanded information and stated with an attitude that if i did not give the information she asked for she would continue to"call"until she got the information she asked for!!!

    Well, they called me and said they were Discover and needed to verify some info. (by the way, I haven't missed a payment) so I told them I wasn't going to give them anything over the phone.

    What kind of an idiot would confirm or give information over the phone!!!

    I told him, If I have or need changes, I will go online or call Discover myself and make those changes.

    NEVER GIVE-OUT ANY INFORMATION OVER THE PHONE.  IF YOU NEED TO DO THIS RIGHT, "YOU" CALL THE NUMBER ON THE BACK OF YOUR DISCOVER CARD.

    I am receiving calls from this number and I do not, and have never had a Discover card. I did not get to the phone fast enough to answer it and they did not leave a message.

    Had been getting the calls from this number for two weeks straight and been ignoring them. Called them back this afternoon. They are Discover card. They offered me some special rates. I politely refused and they politely accepted my decision and apologized for persistent calls.

    got a call at 805 am- the peron who called aked for a name and i aid who are you- matter.. i could hear beeping in phone meaning they are ILLEGALLY taping the call. they need to divulge that upfront. they are very negilgable..... i replied no one here and hung up.
