Female caller pretending to know the owner of my business. When I asked what the call was pertaining to or if she would like to leave a message, she quickly said that she wanted to send some customers over and hung up - VERY "sketchy".

Just had this number call me and had the same situation.

These people (NewPros) - a direct mail marketing company (they send you a list of names and addresses based on demographics you need to mail them ads) - kept calling our office over and over and over, I finally just answered the phone and started yelling, and they haven't called since.  Possibly try if they are bothering you, too!

Claims to be "Julie Phelps". When asked what the call is in reference to, she said she just wants to talk to the owner. When asked to leave a message, she said she will just call back.

Ok. I have been harrased by these people for some time. The number they call from cannot be called back. I have found their main number. I suggest EVERYONE call them and harass them right back!

Every day, I vow to call them and waste as much time of theirs as they wasted mine. These people are rude and sneaky! Time for telemarketer revenge!

Same thing here but gave the name Ann Banks, when I placed them on hold they hung up. I have better things to do then anwer these phone calls.

So glad you put this phone number on here. I called and yes it is a telemarketing company. I was surprised because everyone there I talked to was professional and not pushy as I had anticipated. What they basically do is provide your company with all the newcomers information (name and addresses, phone numbers in cases) in your 5 mile radius so you than can promote your business to them....sounded simple and was reasonable in pricing... I learned from their persistence in marketing tactics .. lol ... they certainly got my attention ...To all that read this blog .. I hope this was helpful.

A man just called from this number and asked for owner of our business by name.  When I said he was not in, he hung up immediately.  Rude!  Wish I could block this number.

I worked there and if you really want to harass them call 1-800-400-3940 and ask for Bryant, he's the sales director.

Do not say yes to anything they ask you. They record it and dub it to sound like you agreed to a contract

Continual back-to-back calls. First call of the day... answered to no response, so I disconnected the call.  They have now called back four times in a row.

Scammers. Looking to steal your identity or get you to pay for something that you do not need or can do on your own time. Report them. If not, you deserve to be scammed.

I did go ahead and talk to the lady named Stephanie. She was selling lists of people who have just moved into my area. Since my customer base is getting low, I agreed to try them for 4 months at $56 per month. After four months you can quit any time. I just discontinued my bug service so I will replace that expense for this one just to see if it helps me.  Have you had any luck getting new customers from their list?

Getting calls from them too. Justin said he would get me new work. I asked how and he hung up.

These people call about every six months or so and as me if I take walk-ins. When I tell them no, they ask me if they can send me clients...I tell them no again and they get rude. Newpros, your telemarketers are rude and wont take me off the list...grrr
