This number called over and over day after day and finally left a message. They say the are with world recovery sevices and are asking for some girl because she has a debt.  It is a scam as I researched this number and the number she gave on the voicemail. The girl sounded "ghetto" and rude and even threatened this girl, that she needs to call by 5pm tonight. They are not licensed and lie to try to scam people out of money.  People these days...it's very sad.

This is one of the many, many numbers that 'World Recovery Services' uses in an attempt to scam people out of money.
These people are not trying to help you, they're just trying to frighten you into paying them money you do not owe them. Despite their threats, they can do nothing to harm you in any way.
You can force these scam artists to stop calling you by sending them a simple cease and desist order. Under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), you are entitled to take this step to prevent further communication from these crooks.

Should they continue to contact you, you can file a complaint with the FTC, BBB and hire a lawyer to pursue monetary restitution for their harassment.

Unfortunately they scammed me out of $200 for a supposed overdraft of an old Credit union account I haven't used in years. They claimed that it was an old debt that will incur interest and be taken to court if it was not handled that day at so and so time. I caution anyone that gets a call from these scam artists and just call the original company you have the debt with to handle payment arrangements.
