Caller identified himself as "Lorenzo" and left a voicemail claiming that his Director found my resume online and that he would like to discuss career opportunities.  My resume is NOT online, I have never applied out, nor am I looking for a new job.  THIS IS A SCAM.

Ran a Google Search of this company's phone number:

American Insurance Life "Recruiter".    Before returning this call, do a Google search on American Insurance Life Scam.    DO NOT CALL THEM BACK!

I also did NOT have a resume online.  They said no selling or cold calling.  mmm I bet!  If they are so good why aren't they honest?  I have a great work ethic and would love working for ANY company that treats me half fair but not liars!

scam/liar! too bad. I'm a good worker.  But am not going to work for liars or on commission! I'm too good for that.

I answered because it was a local number and they hung up on me.  Should have known better and not answered.

The lady told me she has my insurance certificate & wants to set up appt. to delivery the insurance certificate. I told her were busy people &asked her to mail the certificate. She said they really want to hand deliver it. I couldnt commit to any of her opened appts this week, so I asked about a time on 9/20. Thankfully she didn't have her calendar with her for next wk & would call me back later to make the appt. Now I'll know its a joke & can tell her to not call again.

A company called American Income Life. They're a real organization, but their program is MLM - no matter what they tell you, your income is based on sales you make cold- or warm-calling people trying to get them to buy life insurance. This is an office based in the greater Columbus, Ohio area.

These people go through phases, along with other insurance companies like Liberty National Life, Mutual of Omaha, and a handful of other MLM companies. They spam your inbox with "interview" offers. Honestly, if I had more time I'd go to one and just be as rude and crude as possible just for the fun of seeing the looks on their faces.
