they have been calling and harassing my office manager

This number is for the Law Office of Daniel Slane - based out of Columbus, Oh.  If you want to get to the bottom of the reasoning of their call(s), call the director of operations Steve Slyh - his personal cell phone is 614-800-5122.  I'm sure he will try to tell you he or his group of employees will pursue you in court, but he unfortunately has no grounds.  They're calling about payday loans - I would recommend you have them get you the proof you actually owe the bill!!!  Can almost guarantee they will not be able to supply you with anything.

Calls stating they are a law office, (but no official name of office) This time it was supposedly a Mr Courich I believe.  Call left with threating msg to call my work office (which they already done) with an ext # and a case number.  Illegal to harrass at work.  Same as above, requested to send to my address proof of allegations.  Have yet to receive anything, if they were legitimate I believe they would/should already have my info and send/submit to me what I requested

These people called my job and threatened to sue me over a loan that I paid off last year. It is illegal for them to call jobs, but they did it anyway. They claim that they will serve a court order to my job. I want these people to stop calling my place of employment.

They have called left msg but do not return their calls. I have checked with Ohio state bar they are not listed with Ohio state bar. My guess is they are a fake lawyer just a debt collector.

Are these guys legit? They told me they have a case number against me I'm tired of these calls. I just want to know if they are for real case they have a real web site. Im in cali do they have any right to even do anyuthing to me this far away? Let me kno if anyone finds out anything thank you.

I would get calls from a Laura Mann who would threaten me with jail time if I didn't pay my bill and that she is now at a new collection agency in Gahanna Reliant Capital doing the exact same thing.

I will be sending a letter to the Ohio Attorney General informing them of her threatening behavior and where she is now working.

I want to set the record straight.  If you have ever received a telephone call from a Mr, Knapper you probably want my brother Charles Knapper.  He is the aggressive one between the two of us and he is the one who usually is rude and hangs up on people.  I also go by the name Mr. Knapper but I am more customer service so make sure you have the right one when filing your complaint.

My brother has to break the law to collect his money and I do not.

These people are calling me about a bogus loan that I have never applied for.

They got my information from another payday loan company.

They are calling and harassing me and my relatives. They also call my work phone number and leave threatening messages.

The person calling calls himself Mr. Campbell when he leaves messages.

Several months ago a person named Rose called and threatened to get me fired from my job. I called back and explained tha they were braking the Fair Debt collections act by threatening me at work and trying collect a false debt from me which is fraud.
They quit calling for a few months and now they have started again.
They do not provide any proof of my owing anything.

My place of employment got a call form this law office, said i need to call them back before the end of day, i had to clock out to make the call, the man named  Mr Rubin , stated i owed over drafted fees from a bank i have not bank with for over 5 years. he also stated if i did not make a payment they would garnish my pay. , I have asked for papers to be sent to me  but nothing has come in the mail, I just called this number 614-349-3173  got a voice mail, but no law office name

This outfit are scammers. They are not members of the ohio bar        they do not have a business liscence i. The city of columbus.

Hey stupid you do not need a license to collect in the city of columbus.

First, the things said in various posts in this forum about Laura are not true.  She never did anything against her employers nor did she generate the complaints that are posted on the different forums?

Second, if disgruntled former employees want to cry because she collected money and you could not by all means go ahead.

You can say what you want but Laura is a good, decent hard working employee and person.  

Her image should not be tarnished because of juvenile comments made by me late last year on this forum and others.

I want to take this opportunity to apologize to her publicly.

Got a call from this number. Mr. Thompson said he is a Mediator and has rendered his decision. ???? This number shows both Law Firm and United Recovery Worldwide. Which one? Law Office or URW? He was hateful and hung up on me. What should I do?

Have some fun if you get the opportunity to talk to Steven Slyh. Ask him about his home in Independence village and why he left it and took the mail box from the curb? Did he get foreclosed on?

Look him up by name and Danile M Slane, you will find them both to be shysters and of ill repute. Don't waste your time with them. Just demand that they never call you again and to provide all correspondence to your address. Ask them what address they have on file for you, do not volunteer any new information to them.

They are claiming to be with United Recovery now.  I also talked to a Laura and a Mr. Napper (Knapper). Did not get a first name.  They left a message but did not specify who the call was for.  This Daniel Slane has a D- BBB rating.

I called United Recovery.  They told me that they have no office in Ohio.

These guys started calling me out of the blue a little before Christmas. I searched their numbers and haven't answered a single call yet. They have not left me a single voicemail either. I have received nothing in the mail and have nothing on my credit report. If you get a call from these people, ignore them. Legitimate outfits communicate through legitimate channels.
