Called me Septemer 3, 2010.  Robocall promising to lower my credit card interest rates to 6.x%.  I pressed 1 to talk to them so I could tell them to take me off the list.  No response, pressing 1 ended up in a hangup.

Don't you wonder why these places bother to set up the call center, the robo-caller system, and none of it works?  Stupid criminals do stupid things.

My numbers are all in the Do Not Call Registry, so these dirtbags are definitely flaunting the law.

Got a call from 614-283-1954. My caller I D showed "Cell Phone OH". A recording came on claiming to be my credit card company, although they recording never identifies the credit card company. Then they claim I can lower my rate. I press 1, the only option and I get an agent. She hangs up on me as soon as asked her to take me off her call list.

got a call from this number and didn't pickup. Called back and message said user is not accepting phonecalls.

Call from 614 483 1954 and they want to lower credit card rate.  Press option one and they hang up.  Call back, and they block you.

called me at 9 am and didnt answer to anything i said.

When I get a "message" about, SAVINGS, lower interest, SALES, surveys, & all the etc., I just hang up.  After all, when we answer these robo-calls, we JUST confirmed that they-IT reached a working cell/home phone number, SO WHY give then-IT any more information---- Pressing "1" or whatever only talks to a computer & more likely that NOT you just AGREED to more calles, & they JUST sold your WORKING phone number to several others.

It's BEST not to answer an incoming phone number you don't know--- let it go to voice mail/Answering machine, THEN you can decide to call them.

Got a call about lowering the interest rate on my credit card. I have no credit card.

I got a call from 614-483-1954 and pressed 1 to speak w/operator. she asked if i wanted to lower my interest rate I said NO I want you to quit calling my 8 yr old daughters phone and she hung up. I just got one.  I ignored the call and they left the same message as BobSWFL on 9/3.  I've gotten a number of these of the last year from various phone numbers (area codes in MI, IL, IN, and others).

Just keep reporting these numbers, folks.

It would be great to have a live spamassassin-like database I can lookup and dynamically block such calls.

I have the same story about this number just like others here.. Today they called me during the circuts class, and I felt bad interruping 150 people. This scam has to stop. I don't even have no interest rate at no credit card company!

Cold call from this number - recorded message about last opportunity to lower inteerst rates on credit cards. "Press one to speak to a representative.
Immediately transferred to unknown male. Do not remember name.
he asked if I owed more than $4000 on credit cards.
I asked for the company name. Insisted company name was "Account Services"
When asked for the address, replied "I am the one asking questions"
I asked again for the address, he hung up on me.
