The same number just called me at 8am on a Sunday! I didn't get to the phone in time and they didn't leave a message... then as soon as I got back in bed they called again! I got to the phone and they asked for me and I asked them if they knew what time it was and let them know they woke everyone in the house and she said "yes mama I do" so I said "Go ahead what is so importand" and she hung up!

Got a call this morning....called them back.  It's World Finance??

this is the # for World Finance....they collect for Lane Bryant, Catherines, and Fashion Bug and some postings have said they will work w/ you and reduce the ridiculous fees and interest they've added to a past due balance....don't bet on it....they are relentless....will call several times a day....beware...I was recovering from cancer surgery, which I told them, and they called me back the next day, which was a sunday morning...ugh! that really upset me...and they wouldn't tell me the original balance, which was approx. $45 and it has now grown to $185...I just can't believe they wouldn't accept the original $45 under the circumstances, but they would rather pay someone to make 10,000 calls and spend even more $$ ruining your credit....the whole thing is as crooked as a dog's hind leg !! I don't shop at any of those stores anymore, by the way, and haven't for some time.....oh well...they've lost a good customer.

Got call from this number at 8:28 AM on Sunday.  Did not recognize and did not answer.  I am on the federal no-call list.  What else can I do?

When you talk to the company, assuming it is one of your charge card companys, you can ask them not to contact you by phone and only by mail.  By law they have to abide by this request.

Getting numerous calls from this number. The number traces back to OH but the name they give (World Financial) is located in GA

I received this call at 8:44 am on Valentine's day.  I didnt answer.  

I called back and its Word Financial.

I've been called a few times by this number, but with caller ID I don't pick up the phone... I don't owe anybody a cent, so they can't do me any harm.Thank goodness for caller ID, if I don't recognize a name I don't answer the phone, they'll stop calling eventually.....

It's a spammer. They need to disappear.

Called at 1915.I pick up & was told to wait for an important messge.After a minute or so i hung up.Called  back again & as usuall no message left.I don't know World Finacial so i will not pick up.Thank goodness for caller i.d.

No they don't stop calling.  I receive many calls a day from them.  Do they really think I'm going to answer the phone 10 minutes after the last call.

I do have credit cards with Lane Bryant and Sears...I continued to receive calls multiple times a day even after making my payments. This has got to be something else. I answered one time and whoever it was hung up on me before even saying "Hello". And they start right after 8am and call up until just before 9pm. It doesn't seem to matter that my number is on the Do Not Call Registry. They need to stop!! I am feeling harassed.

The call EVERYDAY. Starting at 8 am until after 8 pm. I am not behind on any payments and am in good financial standing. Same as a above (or below) they call relentlessly. I don't know how to stop it. I wish someone did. If you do, please post here. I'm checking back for resolutions.
