These people have been calling me for many months over a student loan that was consolidated years ago.  They have threatened to garnish my wages and will not stop daily calls to me at home and at work.  They are a collections agency called OSI and all they can do is bark - they have no bite.  But their bark is quite annoying and some of us are planning a little payback for these guys...We would love to find out the real names of these callers from OSI.

they said they were a processing and payroll company. She was a rude lady( and I use that term loosly)named "Ms. Reed" A.K.A. lying uneducated freak'...This is the real address and its in Dublin and the police want to know about their activity...They are breaking the law!!!!! This number calls me like 8 times a day about a student loan. They leave very rude voice mails and are always threatening. My call was from MR. Rambowsky who told me time is running out and that it is imperative that I call him immediately.

people need to call and complain to the atty of ohio and the fcc or ftc i have done both.

Just called and asked for me and left a message for me to call back a Mr. Mitchell within 48 hours.  Did not say what the call was pertaining to or why they wished to speak to me.

These OSI representatives have no compassion and never even wanted to listen to what I had to say. Yes, I have student loans that have defaulted. I don't think they want to even work with you. The Debbie Whitehead was rude, interruptive, and flat out told me "I don't care about your other student loans". As well as, "well, they aren't going to be much lower" in very elitist tone.

Scum of the earth, no professionalism whatsoever. OSI is their "new name" theyve changed it several times, they are a collection agency.  

They like to use the telephone as a harrassment device.  Its funny b/c they will never respond to you in written form, since they are deathly afraid of being accountable for their actions.  I found it amusing that they dont have voicemail for the people that call you, nor do they like to used their last names, hmmm?

Do not trust them, report them to the FTC and your local attourneys general immediately for harrassment if they chronically call you more than 2-8 times a day, its a violation of the law.

FYI they are currently being sued by 5 different state attorney's generals for abusive business practices, costumer fruad, and not protecting peoples personal information. They get quite demanding to have your personal information, yet they are surprisingly reluctant to confirm anything in writing.  

Make sure you look up the Federal law called the “Fair Debt Collection Practices Act” (FDCPA) they violated this with me, and I nailed them with it.

Caller comes in on caller ID as Outsourcing Solutions. They haven't called in quite a while, however, when they do once they reach the voicemail - they hang up. We have no outstanding education loans so its really confusing why they continue to call our home.

They call me saying they are a rep for my student loans and they call my job. I am going to report them . They threatened to garnish my wages.

I have verified that my student loan has not been passed off however they are sending me letters stating that I need to call this phone number and put in a code to listen to their voice mail.  Totally a scam and I refuse to call their number. I started researching their name and address and keep coming up with stuff that they are scammers.

I get phone calls from these people and I'm at the tail end of a 80k student loan (UNDER 2k left).

I've not turned them in but I've gotten to where I don't answer and delete their messages from "Caine Covey" who says he is from "Affiliated Credit Services".

i just missed a call from this so-called agency. i hope they dont call again but i am glad i found this site.please dont give any information to these people.better yet- ignore the calls altogether.if they are a legitimate company they wouldnt need to practice business this way.my husband works for a phone company and he couldnt even find out who this number belongs to which tells me it could be a phishing scam. i also hae student loans outstanding so i was also weary when i found this site.

I received a call this morning from them at 6:30am!  I believe it is illegal to call before 8am or after 9pm.  I also had defaulted student loans, but I worked with another agency to rehabilitate and consolidate them.  They left a message saying something about garnishment.  They are annoying, and they have called my house repeatedly.

This number calls at least once a day and leaves messages for either "Miss Espinoza" or "Karen" about the law requiring them to notify her that she needs to call them back about some kind of payment. The messages are always the same except for one or two small details.

Of course, I've never had any debt owed to anyone, don't have the last name Espinoza or the first Karen. They've been calling for months with a few weeks break so I tend to forget about it until the storm comes again.

I get calls from this number, do not answer it and do not feel obligated under and circumstances to answer it since I am on a national do not call list. They never leave a message and if they did I wouldn't call them back anyway. I am tired of harassing phone calls about debt and am trying to dig myself out of some major debts. I do not answer any calls that come in with an area code that is different from mine unless I specifically know the number.

Harrassing guy on phone by the name of 'Tony,' possibly 'Whithers.' After informing him not to call my house again, because the person he is asking for no longer resides at my property and phone number, calls back and becomes more malign. I will pursue this with local police department, then may file class suit with the company he works for.

I have been receiving these calls also but have never answered them and no message ever left on my answering machine. Outsourcing SOL and the number 614-717-4395 shows on my caller ID. I had no idea who these calls are/were from so I decided to find out by searching the net and came across this site. I have never had a student loan, do not have any outstanding loans of any type. Anyone that gets these types of calls should do the following. Write a letter to the company and state in it to cease and dessit all calls to your phone number per  the FTC Fair Debt Collection Act. The letter needs to be sent via certified mail with delivery confirmation. I also write in the letter that I will file a formal complaint with the FTC Consumer Protection Division, in my case the Indiana attorney generals office and purse legal action using my personal attorneys if I receive any further calls after the delivery confirmation is received. Since I have never answered these calls and no message has ever been left I do not know if this company is using an automated dialing machine system. In Indiana these types of calls are also illegal per IC 24-5-14-5 of the Indiana code.

Debbie Whitehead has also called my home repeatedly. She claims OSI taken over student loans.
They refuse to mail proof or other information citing it takes two weeks and we do not have that
length of time to resolve the issue. She uses a very threatening tone yet again offers no proof of
who she or her company are representing. I am so grateful to have found this website while trying
to find out who OSI actually are. Thank you for posting this information.

Well Well Well... I have also been a victim of OSI, my rep her name is Carrie Fracker, she is not a damn fool as one rep I spoke to at this company. Although I have asked her to mail me the information and she decided to fax to my job.

She keeps asking for banking info and she can stop the garnishment... Blah blah blah. This company needs to be punished for the tactics they use.

They try to scare the hell out of you so that you will commit to their bull.

Oh well, I did not fall for it.

I just received 2 calls from this number on my cell phone.  I didn't answer and decided to google the number and hear I am.
