This number won't stop calling me and everytime I answer, it is an automated machine. They leave voicemails and I cannot figure out how to get them to stop calling.

This number is on my phone 30 times.  Just says to call Mrs. Brown before 5:00.  I call the number back and it says welcome to ACI - what is ACI???

This number belongs to a Debt Collector. I've been contacted by them before, over a Hospital Emergency Room Debt and it was also a  "Mrs . Brown" that contacted me. They are called A.C.I short for Affiliated Creditors Incorporated.  If they're contacting you, most likely, you have a debt that they are attempting to collect. My advice would be to call them back and speak to Mrs. Brown, especially if she is the one contacting you and leaving messages because she was who contacted me, and she is very, very willing to work with you on payments. If all you can pay is $10.00 or $20.00 a month (just an example) she will work with you, and agrees to accept your payment and she is not one of your typical debt collectors that is rude, mean and hateful. I've called several times when I was making a payment and spoken with other employees there as well and they were all polite and not one employee has ever made me feel like scum for having a debt. You can't say that about all collectors, most are rude and treat you like you just went and stole money from them, not A.C.I.  My advice, if you're getting calls and messages, just call them back. They do answer phones. Yes, they will call you several times a day if you aren't returning their calls, they are debt collectors trying to collect on an unpaid debt/debts.

You must be mrs. brown. Stop calling me

Amy Verner has given out my phone number and has, for years, had debt collectors after her.  I'm now getting recorded calls from this  number which direct me to call back--I suspect related to her actions.  When I do (in a vain effort to get them to stop), I get a recorded message BUT, it listed the company as ACI.  A google search shows it is likely ACI Worldwide, a financial services company and likely a debt collector. Their main office number in the US is 402-390-7600 but I have not yet gotten it resolved.  And, if I do, it is of course only for THIS company.
