Robo call for credit card offer with lower interest rate.

Called, left no message, when I called back I got an automated Verizon message saying "number out of service".

I called the number and it is a busy line...  Call came from Nashville, TN

This number called me and I told them to please put me on do not call list.  Man replied. ..shut up bit ch and hung up.

called and left no message.  when i called back it auto hung up on me before it even connected properly.

They just did the same thing to me ,I call back ,no respond

I have True on my phone. Call came up as Randy L Bullock Maggie, 37013 Antioch, TN. I did not answer as I pulled this up and saw all of the recent chatter on it. Tagged it on True as Spam. Great app for your smartphone. It is much like this site, but on your phone and you can tag things as spam or see immediately when it comes up, who it might be and if others have marked as spam. You can then block that number in the app from future calls.

Yet another spoofed number calling around to people who owe money by people working for bill collectors. They call under the pretense of lowering your credit card interest rates, but really it's information collecting. They're hoping you'll give information about yourself to run back and give it to your creditors when the creditors either can't find you or can't get you to answer their calls.

Doesn't bother me. The bill collectors are the ones spending time and money futilely. It only takes me five seconds to block them and a minute or two online to enjoy mocking them.

Called but left no message. It showed up as a Tenn number. I called it back and got a busy signal. Probably tryin to sell something.....[***].

I just reported this number to the Federal Trade Commission. I'm on the National Do Not Call Registry so I submitted a complaint. Hopefully that will somehow help.

Got the same thing...."not in service" my [***]!!   They had just called me!!  This is about my 6th call from "them" !!   They keep telling me that they see that I have recently inquired about Soc. Sec. Disability!!  Seriously???   I work with a small Town Highway Dept. road crew!!!   Disability??  They should see me climbing up and down these "hills" of Maine!!

greatYeah, I received the same damn thing. I usually do not answer any number that I'm unfamiliar with. That's become a habit of old for now. Being that this lovely little lady I've been speaking with for the past 4 years, just suddenly stopped communicating with me as of the second week in August. And uh, no, we weren't on bad terms. So needless to say I've been sleepless, ringing up people nonstop. Still searching. So this is my reason for answering any & every call I get now. It's usually an excited quick, HellO! followed by, a disappointing, Oh no Thankyou... (Blip) But I haven't nor will I give up. Hope everyone's Winter Solstice holidays were greatly enjoyed.
