- NicoleI just got a call from a guy named john that wanted to know if i was still interested...he gave me the address which I think is the same address from a sham company that employed people to sell their product (like avon, etc.) but to actually buy it first and work soley on commission (to which I actually went to their "interview" several months ago). How'd he get my number? And does anyone know what it's really about?
- Caller: Wellness Center
- KaySTAY AWAY! The "company" he works for is called Symmetry Direct. Too bad I reasearched them after getting off the phone with "Jon." According to my online research, they're a scam company. There are several of them, and they are NOT accredited by the BBB and will rip you off! Read these online reviews, but don't visit their site because it likely contains spyware.

They target college students with little to no money and ask them to come in for an "interview" in which they must pay over $100 to test their products before they can start selling them. Also in this interview they must fill out sheets and provide personal secure information. Next, they are asked to attend a "Seeds of Success" seminar in which they pay $300 to register for, and are encouraged to "borrow" someone's credit card if they don't have the money. The site shows you how to get credit card info from a 3rd party! People have lost hundreds from this sham!
I also, just received a call from "Jon" from the Wellness Center in Nashville. He says my number was referred to him. He didn't know by whom. Then he started asking if I had answered any online job ads recently. I said no, but that my resume was on a few job sites. He asked what type of work I do and I told him I am a student studying writing. He laughed and said that that was different from his line of work, the health industry. He asked if I was interested in health at all. I said yes. He asked if I was located in Nashville or planned to visit, and asked what type of work I do. I told him I was from Nashville, living in KY, and a student. He said that he'll be holding a conference in Louisville, KY, Nov 18-20 and that I should come if interested in learning more about the company. He asked if I was coming to Nashville anytime soon and I said maybe December. I asked for more information about the company and he said he'd email me some info. He says the company doesn't have a website of their own, but that they are a partner to a health company located in the Donelson Plaza by the Nashville Airport. This is the email he sent me from email address, jonmbarton@yahoo.com

- AshleyMy husband recently got a call from this number. The guy asked him if he wanted to show up for an interview on Monday at a rec center. He thinks he also remembers the guys name being Jon. I think he got my husbands number because me and my husband where on the MTSU campus and saw an add on a bulletin board for health related stuff (which my husband is interested in) and since my husband is looking for a job he thought he might try to call it but when he did it just went to an answering machine with no professional business mentioned at all so he didn't leave a message. We think it was this guy who called him back since it was from this number.
- EdwardsJust got a call... sounded odd from the start... DONT FALL FOR THIS.... I don't remember the guy's name. He stated that he was returning my call in RE: a PT/FT job.... Funny thing is I never called him to start with. Call back goes to a V-Mail without mention of a Company Name....

- Ben| 1 replyI am an soon to be graduating MTSU student as-well. About a week ago I received a call from a 'wellness center' in Nashville, TN and spoke with 'Jason'. He claimed he was able to find me potential employment and was insistent I come by for a formal meeting. After the ambiguous conversation, I was still weary of him and his organization. I later decided to investigate online, finding this and other accounts of possible fraud with his 'wellness center'. I called him back and asked him who he specifically worked for and how he received my contact information. He was unable to answer both questions, still insisting I still come by for the 'meeting'. From there I concluded this was most definitely a scam.
The number he use to contact me was 615-307-0199. BE CAUTIOUS PEOPLE- Caller: wellness center
