Sounds like YET ANOTHER SCAM.  Some BS about "Are you a middle-aged woman with vaginal mesh implant?"  I'm on the Do Not Call list, so it probably is a scam.  Blocked & reported.

Received a call from this number at 1:56 p.m.  I answered because my elderly Tennessee uncle is in the hospital.  No one spoke, no recording.  Leave me alone, idiots, I'm on the Do Not Call List.

They keep calling but never leave a message.  I am also on the Do Not Call List.

615-490-5988 is a SPOOFED NUMBER, according to the caller complaints website . The caller could be calling from anywhere. Not likely that this call is really coming from Tennessee. BBB recent article says do not believe anything that you see in caller ID anymore.

Many people are getting calls from this number.  Some of the people who have picked up the phone report that the
caller is:  social security wanting your authorization forms, selling medical alert system, COPD assistance, vaginal
mesh lawsuit, free groceries.....

Caller ID read 'Tennessee". Robocall about participating in menopausal women's study, dial 1 if interested, or 9 to opt out.

caller is using spoofed number.  most likely this call is not coming from Tennessee.  don't pick up.

Got the call today. I don't answer them, there all scams. CI read cell phone, TN.

Rcvd call 08/29/2014 @ 1045 hrs. Did not answer. Checked here; possibly telemarketer.

Called me at 9:16 EST this morning. Also on the DNC as many others.  For OTHER people's info, robo-calling, unless you have given express written permission is ILLEGAL by FCC laws. PLEASE take the time to report these calls to the FCC (illegal robo-calling) AND the FTC (Do Not Call violation).  That's the ONLY way to flag these crooks!  The FCC also takes complaints for spoofed numbers (when you dial back it says disconnected, or isn't a real number to start with) - that is ALSO illegal.

Got a call from this # at 11:26 am.  No one spoke so hung up and tried to call back message said mail box was full and to call back later.
