Someone called me from this number claiming to have an affidavit concerning me being involved in check fraud and that I needed to have my attorney call him; I've received calls like this from other numbers and I believe it's a scam to try to scare me into giving them money.

This number as well as several others have been calling me saying my mother is being served regarding check fraud. She hasn't had a checking account in over ten years. I've researched all of the other numbers and they all come back to the same thing: someone trying to bully you into paying a debt that was already paid. If these people call you again tell them you will report them to BBB and the State in which you live. Generally when I do this that particular number stops calling me, but eventually another will start.

The people can't even pronounce our names right, and often refer to my mother, Rocki, as sir. This is clearly a scam! I called them back and asked for the name of their company in order to report them to the BBB and they responded with this is a private investigation and would give me no further information. I then told them that if it was a private investigation they shouldn't be calling me at all as I am not the person they are looking for and if they couldn't tell me the name of their company, I definitely would not be giving them information. The woman promptly hung up on me.

Her name was JaDonna Harris
332922 was another number that was mentioned but I am not sure what it refers too.

Report these people ASAP!

These guys called me to tell me that I owed money to a loan company that I did some business with about 6 years ago and that charges of intent to defraud a bank were going to be filed against me. I spoke with that loan company and they informed me my accts with them were all current and in good standing. What worries me is that they have important information such as my ssn#.

I was contacted by this number in Old Hickory, TN about a payday loan I had 6 years ago and that they were filing fraud and malicious intent to defraud. I don't remember getting a payday loan from the company they say I did. What is they scary part is all the personal information they had on me. I was not sure about them until I found this site and I hope no one falls for their [***]!!!!!!!!!!

They called me last week saying the same and when I had my attorney try to contact by fax asking to see the info they went off and said they were gonna report him that hes not a real attorney and that they are gonna come and get me and have an arrest warrant and have me go back to tn for the trial I was frecked out but its a debt and no one can serve you with an warrant its a scare thing to try to get you to pay money its pretty funny how you call them it says this angency and not a person answering it then call you back in about a min saying you called they called me 13 times in one day so I have proof of harassment I am so sick of these kind of people trying to scare people its happened to me a couple of times and if they don't want to show me the proof then I will not pay an thing

ANYONE who gets a call threatening arrest, do not fall for this. It is against the LAW.. yes against the LAW to threaten arrest due to a debt. Read this article from the Federal Trade Commission. Even if you DID owe them money, you have rights as a consumer to make them prove this debt. I WISH they would call me again because last time they called, I scared the living crap out of the woman I was speaking to who btw, sounded like she was calling from India. DO NOT give these people your money.

YOU MAY WANT TO BE CAREFUL. I ACTUALLY WENT TO JAIL. I BLOCKED THERE CALLS FROM MY CELL ECT, LIKE A MONTH LATER I GOT PICKED UP ABOUT IT. I NEVER WRITE CHECKS AND THE JUDGE TOLD ME PER THE CONTRACT I SIGNED I "ELECTRONICALLY" DID A BUNCH OF [***] NOW ITS ON MY RECORD AND IM IN COLLEGE SO GOOD LUCK!
