Craigslist scam number... they sent me emails on 6 different items I have up for sale, each one leaving a cryptic message and this number to call back.

CL SCAMMER named DAVID PATRICK

AS*HOLE answers my ad 30 min after posting asking if the item is still available. DUH!  Asks price which is highlighted in the ad. DUH!  E-mails me from TN.  I'm in NJ!! DUH!

Just got the same BS but this Guy said his name was Bob

Yep, same thing here.  These scammers should be stopped and punished.  Hopefully someone is doing something about it.  This time they used a different name but same (615) 669-5634 phone number.

Thankfully I looked this up.  Now he's Bob Brown.

I just got two of the same exact scam messages, flag the emails!

I am getting text messages from this number. He sent me a check and asked me to deduct my money and send the balance to his mover via Western Union. He is adamant that we do it ASAP. Obviously a scam.

I got a similar email and it seemed suspect. So luckily I googled it and found all this helpful info.

Same thing here...Got 3 replies to an ad on craigslist..one fron BOB, David Patrick, and Chistine Colgen...wants to send "certified cashiers check"..sounds to good...my only question is why would you send someone a certifed cashiers check (which i havent received, supposed to be here today..yeh right.) and be able to cash it(yeh right), get your money and then wait on someone to pickup the merchandise..dont understand what kind of scam this is
