Same here, either a telemarketer or scam.

received call, unable to get to phone to answer in time, rang 3 times, no message.  I think it is a security company. Keep getting calls from them from different numbers around united states.  Have asked them numberous times not interested to stop calling. I think they are trying to find out peoples habits, when they are home and such!

Just called the number back and it said that the number was disconnected and no longer in service. How can that be?

This number appears as TENNESSEE STATE on my caller ID.

have been receiving many calls from outside the area, which I have not been answering.  I was tired of the calls and answered this call originating from TN USA.  There was a recorded message, something about lowering my interest rate ....  I dialed 1 and spoke to a real person.  They said hello and I asked who they were.  Silence, then the line disconnected.  I called the number back and the message said it was disconnected, similar to the person before.  I have found that this or these group(s) use a variety of numbers.  I have our phone company investigating.

Calls all the time...doesnt leave a message!

Said it was a credit card processor.  I told them they called a cell number on the do not call list and they hung up.

I just got a call from this number and they left a message about lowering my interest rate.

If we all start messing with them maybe we can atleast ruin they're day like they do ours.....purchase a sports whistle....wait until a real person comes on....then blow the whistle onto the phone when they are in mid sentence!!! We used to do it to prank callers

I didn't answer, but looked up the number here.
They left no message.  

I am on the National Do-Not-Call List,
and have been for over a year now.  
(I guess this is our government at work for us.)  

Again, I'm going to http://www.fcc.gov/complaints 
AND to https://complaints.donotcall.gov/complaint/complaintcheck.aspx 
and see if that can get the government
to work for me, and stop these calls.  
(Yes I will go through all those steps.)  
We should all pile on.
