received call on my cellphone, the guy said something about Cingular and asked me if this was a cellphone, I said yes and he asked for another number where he could reach me and that was the end of the conversation.
It sounded very strange...

I found out that this is a marketing co. called Flake - Wilkerson. They call me every evening. If I don't recognize the name or number, I don't answer it.

Caller ID said Flake-Wilker, I don't know who this is.  They are calling my work number every 2-3 days.  I don't answer unsolicited sales calls.  They never leave a message.

Flake-Wilkerson shows in caller id but I never answer the phone b/c I've been receiving a lot of survey type calls lately.  Our number is unlisted and we usually give out cell #'s so I am unsure how they received our home #.  We just don't answer the call!

Flake-Wilkerson called the last 2 days @ 5:22 & 5:47pm.  I don't answer.  I am on the don't call list and unlisted.  I don't give out my number.  Maybe I will start calling them @ dinner or 3am and see how they like it (I wish).

I am on the Do Not Call list, but this number called my home phone late in the evening.  I don't know who it is, but they did not leave a message.  Caller ID said "Flake-Wilkerson."

Just signed up with Verizon Wireless this weekend and had phone numbers for my phone and my husband's ported on Monday.  Wednesday and today I'm getting calls from 615-886-7224.  Now that I know who it is, I'm gonna rip 'em a new one.  Just got off the phone with Cingular cust service - rep had never heard of such a thing and said Cingular/AT&T does not sell phone numbers and suggested maybe I consider it's Verizon Wireless who did.  When Flake-Wilkerson calls again, I won't be answering their questions, adn hopefully they'll tell me from who they got my number.

Switched my cell service from ATT to T-mobile a few days ago.  Have had the same phone number (first with Verizon for 1 year, then with ATT for 4 months (iPhone) before switching this weekend).  

This is the first call received that I don't recongize the number in the entire year and a half of having my current cell number.  

Ironically, I renewed my #'s on the Do Not Call list a few days ago.

Strange... will be programing this number to ring silent.

Am on the do not call list. Caller id showed FLAKE-WILKERSON so did not answer as that is no one I know. Very irritating.

switched carriers from sprint to att over the weekend and just got the call today. didn't answer it but it looks pretty obvious how the company is getting peoples numbers

My daughter just updated to a new phone on our family plan thru Cingular/ATT&T.  Received the phone a few days ago.  Now we're receiving
calls from Flake-Wilkerson.  I'm not answering after reading the other messages here!  This is on our land line phone that we're getting these calls.  Very annoying!

This was an AT&T sanctioned phone survey about a recent wireless phone addition I made for my daughter. I answered the phone and asked them not to call me anymore, no more calls.

There is an exception on the Do Not Call registry for companies you've done business with in the last 18 months so they can call you if you have an AT&T phone.

We just cancelled our cell phone service with AT&T/Cingular and this phone number started showing up with caller id of "Tennessee". Haven't been home when they've called and we don't have an anwering machine.

got a call which i googled and found a Nashville, TN number with numerous reports, including this one i am adding to.  i am on the do-no-call list for telemarketers.  when i called the number back i got a message that said they were a research company for telecommunications companies and were calling to do a survey; they also said they might call back.  i could not leave them a message.

see the previous message - i called at&t and referenced my wireless number.  i told them about the call and requested that i be put on a list by at&t for no calls or emails about products, surveys, or any other matters except my bills for my existing service.  they said they put me on a list.

I received a call at 4:53 p.m.  I just canceled one line off my AT&T Wireless account on Friday.  Strange coincidence that I am now receiving telemarketing calls from Flake-WIlkerson.

I have had the same experience as most of the other folks who have made comments. I have AT&T Wireless, but the call came to my non AT&T land line.
The caller stated they were doing a customer satisfaction survey on a recent inquiry I purportedly made to AT&T. What inquiry??? I have not called AT&T in years. I don't know what this is all about, but when the caller asked if other household members may have called or were available I said no, and the
caller said he would call back, to which I replied don't call again!! If this is truly sanctioned by AT&T, they should be ashamed, if not they should take action against these 'Flakes' and have them cease and desist annoying their clients. Interestingly enough one of the previous posts alluded to Verizon and I received the call the day after I switched to their internet/TV/phone service package. I wonder if other posters also have a Verizon connection.
