I received a call on my cell phone from this number. I didn't answer and they didn't leave a message.

Called my SkypeIn number.

Received a call from this number on my cell. They left a partial voice mail. "You have been referred to us by a neighbor or friend." No clue who they are.

I didn't recognize this # so refused the call with a message. phone signaled that it was a land line! No idea who it is or why they called. no message left.

Call came from this number to my home phone, and I did not answer. They did not leave a message.

Got a missed call from this number and no message was left. Have a feeling someone from a network marketing friend gave up my number for solicitation.  What a friend she was!

Just received the robocall. They are shilling a home alarm system.

Just received a call from this number. I did not answer and they did not leave a voicemail. I did call the number back which allowed me to select #2 from the prompt in order to remove my number from the call list.

Missed a call from this number, no message, called backed and no company name was provided. I pressed 2 to add my number to the "Do Not Call list."

Hindsight: By pressing 2 to be removed from the "Do Not Call list" I was probably ADDED to 100 marketing companies phone number list.  :-)

I just received a call from this number on my cell phone. I answered by saying "hello" three times, but there was nothing but silence on the other end.  Needless to say, I hung up.

This number called me and said there had been a rise in crime in my area and that a friend or relative may have referred me to them.  They are trying to sell alarm systems.  I got a call on two different cell phones today.  What the heck?

Got a call on my work phone at 3:32pm today, April 7, 2014. Caller ID identified them as "GB MARKETING CO." I didn't pick up, and they didn't leave a voice mail. Apparently marketing alarm systems, or marketing something, based on other entries here.

This number called me, I did not answer since I don't recognize it, and no message was left.

I received call from this number on my cell, when answer no one talks, no response.

I got this call and a machine said "there was a Verizon crime in your neighborhood", then the phone operator asked: "to accept, press 1" and I just hung up.

What with all the telemarketing and other various scams so plentiful and wasting my cellphone airtime, to say nothing of interruptions during meals, etc. on our landline, our policy has become: Not a recognized number? Don't answer.
I owned my own telemarketing (somewhat) business years ago, but I advertised my business and the potential customer called me. I suggest the letting any unrecognized call go unanswered.
