Some kind of telemarketing/scam call.  I did an internet search for information on what the "salesperson" told me, and found it to be exactly the same message as what people have reported for another telephone number:  603-214-3511.  

The man said that he was calling from a company named Vista and that my $200 gas card was ready to be shipped, which I had earned through using my Visa card ending in the numbers ****.  He apparently knew my last name, but asked for Mr. or Mrs. which does not apply to my situation.  Also, he did not have the correct card number for me.  After I told him that, he said sorry if he caused any inconvenience and then hung up.  It's very strange when someone you don't know calls and tries to confirm your name and credit card number, don't you think?

I just got a call from the same phone number.  They asked if they were speaking to me by name, when I asked who they were, they said they were calling from Vista Services.  When I asked what the call was regarding, she told me that they need to verify that it was me they were talking to.  I hung up on them.  Doesn't sound right.

Got the same call twice today. Didn't answer either time but they also didn't leave a message. Strange.

Got the same thing just now.  on my cell phone.  When i answered, they hung up immediately - no message.

A woman phoned from this number at around 2.45PM CDT offering me free gas and claiming they got my cell phone number from my VISA credit card. When I told her I did not accept incoming telemarketing calls on my cell, she got aggressive I told me I should not be answering calls from numbers I did not recognize! I told her I was going to report her to authorities and she hung up. Very annoying that these people are still up to their old tricks.

I just got a call from this number... didn't answer.  Yesterday my cousin sent me a link on Facebook promoting a nutritional line called Acai Pure.  He didn't send the link though.  His page got hacked and was used to promote this product.  It is a real line of products, so I chatted with them after realizing I ordered something through a hacker.  Unfortunately, the person I talked to didn't believe me.  They did have an order from me on file, but denied anybody had used their site to hack personal info from folks ordering from them.  I re-checked the original link... Facebook had gotten so many complaints from that link they shut it down.

I got 4 calls today from this number on my cellphone between 5 and 7:30. didn't answer any of the calls.

Same here. Calls but no voicemail.

I have recieved several phone calls from this number, each time it sounds like dead air on the other line and then hangs up. I tried calling the number back a couple times and it says the number I dialed doesn't exist on a machine. I think its probably a machine calling service & possibly a scam. According to the above comment it could be a scam to get credit card info (but maybe the calling machine has gone haywire?).  Anyway, I also recieved the same type of calls from 402-982-0484, 410-419-0117, and just this morning 803-549-6515. I got on a consumer report website for scams last night and reported these numbers.

Called twice on a Monday then once again in the early hours on tuesday.  They actually had an old card number I had already canceled. Said I had been selected to be a premium customer?? I dont have any credit cards though just debit.  I thought they said they were with visa but I guess it was vista. Also said something about maddog. Said they were going to charge be a total of $10 for $120 gas rebate and then charge me $19.00 something a month for something else. When told O was not really interested the guy ignored me. Pretty Sketchy if you ask me.

Also said something about being related to watchdog who checks your security.  Also when you call the 616 number back they do not ever say their company name, also strange. They also told me their toll free number is 18009705182

i called this number back n it said it was to confirm an order..but doesn't say a company name... says to press 2 to be removed

Well, I took the call this time ... figuring they won't stop until I answer the call.

Yes, Boiler Room operation of some sort. Said they got my info (name, last 4 of my credit card) from a "marketing partner". Offering free gas card (for $2.95 shipping) and trial membership in some Discount Savings & Leisure Time Savings Club.

I suspect my purchase of something from a TV ad led to this ... last time I do that!!! Will have to go back in my records and see which card I used for the TV offer, bet it was the one they called me with ... then I will file a complaint with THAT company!

I just got a call from616-980-1150 and the female id'ed herself as Aisha from Cash and other Rewards... it seems that one of my students used my number to try and win a Smiley Face t-shirt... nevertheless, this woman was persistent in trying to get me to give over my Visa number, saying I won another Visa card and that my balance would be transferred over at a lower interest rate... She hung up when I told her that I would turn the matter over to my attorney.

Got a call from these people today about 12:00 EST. A woman came on the the phone and asked was I at the same address and did I have the same credit card number ending in. The info was correct she asked. I hung up and called my bank.

Just got a call.  The phone rang 3 times.  On the caller ID it said "order confirmation"    I knew it was b.s. as soon as I seen it.  I picked up the receiver and got a dial tone.

I got a call from them and asked her for first and last name and spell it
slowly-she hung up. area code and prefix is grand rapids, mi; so i blocked
my number and called back where's there's a message saying leave your number
and we'll call back-so I left the number of their BBB!

Also received a call from 517-933-2016 the same exact recording when I returned the call to find out why a girl was calling to let me know that I was going to receive a $100 gift certificate for being a good customer. Very disturbing as she had me first name and last 4 on the credit card. I proceeded to hang up on her. Hopefully some day these people can be tracked down, as this is obviously criminal in one way or another.

this number came up several times in the same day, then again 3 days later. I never answered the phone and they never left a message. Is there a way to block this number???

this is second call of this type I have recieved in the last 24 hrs I will not  answer this type of call if  I don't know who it is!!!!
