I get this one a few times a week,   sometimes I get text messages also that contain numbers and gibberish

They called & did not leave message

A man called my cell from this number and asked for me by name.  When I asked who was calling, they hung up on me.

The phone rang back right away, and the same thing all over again.

nh resident this sounds like you have a stalker at the VA hospital. The number is from the VA hospital as Telgeek stated.  
I know, I go to the VA hospital and this is number they use to remind me of my appointments.

They did leave a message (yes VA) asking me to participate in an Iraq Vet survey. I am a war veteran so this is a legit call from a legit number. Have a great day!

It was for real; no hoax and nothing annoying ;)

I'm in North Carolina and it was definitely a Northern accent (easily could have been from Boston).

This is the general number for the VA Boston Helathcare System, Jamaica Plain Campus.
It could be a call from anyone, at any extension, within the entire hospital.

Got several calls today from this number, all with somebody laughing in the back ground...weird

Just got a call from this number. I answered because it says "UNITED STATES G". A lady asked "who is this"  I gave her my name, then she said " I am sorry, wrong number" That's all folks.

This number called my cell twice -- asking for a Mr. Perez and trying to schedule an appt. When I called back to set them straight, they were polite and grateful for the correction. Seems a legit operation to me.

THis number just called me and hung up when I said my name.  That does not sound legit

This is the number for the jamaica plain va. Any call going out of the hospital should show this number on caller id's.

this seems like a legit number even though it is not there using I sent him hacking caller ID system do not give out any of your personal information to this person or anyone you don't know calling out there's been a wave of new hackers that are taking your phone information and eventually your credit card information and screwing you over just to be a simple about it do not give any information to this person or anyone else that you don't know that cause you especially your name or anything else like that they've already got your credit card number possibly social and whatnot do not answer questions to people that you don't know duh [***] [***] I can't even say redemption for me you should def should you should have came in today redemption for me there's you should have come in today redemption for me there she should have time today redemption for me there you should have come today jai jai jai

this number called twice.  they did not leave a message. WHO ARE THESE PEOPLE ANYWAY?

Someone sent an SMS with this number
And the person threaten my life

rang my celly & hung up, left no msg. The Feds call that a Silent Call & it's unlawful.
Many notes here say it's the VA in Boston, but I've never set foot in a VA hospital outside of Florida.
