seriously, how many phone numbers in how many different states is Verizon Wireless going to call me from?  I'm fairly certain NINE SEPARATE CALLS over a 36-hour period from three phone numbers in three states is excessive. Especially since if they'd leave a freakin' voice mail, they could avoid having to call more than once at all.  Jesus.

I switched to AT&T but ported my old VZ number, so now they're still calling me.

Just pay your bill.

I have ATT and got this call.  I've never had Verizon.  You're suggesting that we pay scammers.  You're their perfect target.

It is Verizon Wireless. They are just reminding you to pay your bill. I now get texts from them, click on the link, and pay it. No problem. Other than the money they charge, their service is no bargain, but they are the best, For Now! I still shop around.:-)

Beware, I believe this number is a Scam!!! I was called several times from this number with robo call claiming that they are Verizon Wireless and they must speak to  a Mr. Jose Velazquez about a service change, they then give you an opportunity to speak with a representative if you are not the person in question. After waiting on hold for a couple of minutes I was connected with Melissa  who asked me for my name and account information. I informed her I was contacted by a robo call and wish to have my name removed from the call list, I refused to give her any more information than my Last Name and Telephone Number when she pressed for more information I asked how the phone company (whose primary function is phone information) might have my number associated with an incorrect name. She explained that sometimes when numbers change the company takes awhile to update the information in their database. I responded that I have had my current number for over 16 years and that I believed this to be a scam call. Flustered, she promised that I would be removed from the call list; regardless I have blocked the number. (Also, at a certain point I asked where their call center was located and she said Iowa when the call area code is from Boston.) Just be careful and good luck!

I got a call from this number and it was in Spanish.. I don't even speak the language.

I got a call from this number today saying my account was past due and to make a payment.  I thought it was suspicious because the amount didn't match the amount on my last statement.  The recording didn't give the breakdown.  I later called Verizon Financial Services and got a similar recording but with a breakdown that specified the amount overdue + currently due.  The earlier call was legit.

I too had an overdue bill With Verizon. I got a text stating I had 24 hrs to pay. It was true, I was about to be disconnected. Thought I had another week! So I paid it in full. No more calls, and I searched this # and it's not a scam, it really is Verizon calling about your acct.For once it was a real deal 😉 They call until you pay.

I got a call from same number. They said it was about a status change in my account.  I have AT&T and have been with them for well over a decade. The automated message said to push 1 if I was so-and-so (I'm not) or 2 if I was not so-and-so.  I hung up.  This is the second day in a row they have called me after 4PM but prior to 6PM EST.

This number called my home and cell number at least 6 times in one day and sent me texts to tell there have been changes on my cell service.(which didn't happen).  When I called Verizon to complain about the exessive calls they said it's not them or their phone number! They do not make calls like that and had no record of the call being placed.  So tired of the scamming! The # has been blocked!
