How do you get these people to stop calling?

These people told me that they were lawyers and that they were having a warrant sent out for my arrest if I didn't pay a debt.They threatened me and said they were sending the police to my house. I

I just got the same call.  Name is Jeff Foster heavy accent.  Said the "cops will come to your doorstep with an arrest warrent.  before we tell your workplace and payroll dept about this case against you, please call us.  if you do not call back, we will drag you to the courthouse and you will have to face the legal action.  call us back immediately before you get arrested, loose your job, your credit score and your friends.  and once we file this case i'm sure no one gonna help you out.  because of this legal case, your friends, family members, and all your relatives (said real-a-tives)will be facing the legal consequences."  he then said again about loosing my job and credit score and ended with goodbye and God Bless You.  ???  TOTAL scam.  Trying to use scare tactics to scam money out of you.

I received a phone call from this number on this morning.  Not knowing who they were or why they were calling because of the heavy foreign accent, I told them that I was not interested.  They persisted and called me back 6 more times, and I ignored it.  However, the 7th time, I answered and tried to get more information and then they started threatening me that they were a law firm and was going to sue me.  He demanded for me to respond to who I was and I told him that I did not understand why he was calling, then he started swearing at me and told me what he wanted me to do to him.  At that point, of course, I quickly hung up.  I called them back and they and stated that they were a law firm.  He proceeded to read my social security number back to me!  I want this to stop and stop now!

I got the same call a few mins ago. The guy  had a heavey middle eastern accent and told me the same thing that i had a warrant out and that he was from a law office.and i had til friday to pay the loan off or i would be arrested. At first i told hime my situation and he hung up the phone and told me have fun in jail. So i called back an he was a little rude. Why do they have to scare the crap out of people. Y cant they just be nice and tell u the problem .

It's all a scam, they tried to say the same things to me I almost fell for it until I did some research on just the little information they gave me which was really nothing just that they were from Goodwin and Associates representing American Cash Advance.

Ok- So this isn't for real?

I was so stressed ALL day at school. I awake to this call, so I call them back before heading to college. I was freaked out because I did apply for an online loan, but they ended up sending the money to the wrong account number - they then cancelled the loan (they told me) so it was like the loan never happened.  This guy on the phone said he couldn't tell me which loan site exactly it was from because they were covering a website that had multiple loan accounts. I then asked since they couldn't tell me the exact website how much money I had "borrowed". They told me 300, which is so weird because I never got approved for a loan worth 300. After saying well i can get ahold of my bank and prove I never received this money, they said have a nice day goodbye. I believed it because all the guy on the phone was doing was explaining things and then wanted to get me off of the phone.. but it seems as though there is no way this is true.. so all day I was so freaked out for no reason. Made me feel so guilty and I never even got a freaking loan!! [***].

yes I got the same call from a person with a heavy middle eastern accent, he said his name was Alex Brown on Thursday Aug 23rd he called from a 334 539-1655, and it was the same Alex Brown, but today he called from 617 419-4060, he said I better respond or I will be in trouble, what'd funny is I'm a tax collector and even true debt collectors do not talk like that, he never said this is a debit and any info will be used for that purpose, he said I got a loan but it did not go through because my bank did not have the $117.00 fee I said first of all sir I did not get a loan and my bank would have notified me of the rejection, I said I will contact my attorney as well to bring charges on you for harrassing me of something I never even got, then he said do you want the loan I said stop calling me then I hung up.

I just got the same call. From 6174196040. From an attorney David jones. He has all my information. He told me I had 30 to 40 minutes to send him close to $550.00. I aske for the county in which charges were being pressed, he screamed, I asked For the month of the loan, he became even more upset. I then called my bank to ask for the information. No loan was deposited and they never tried to debit my account. Called them back to let them know the info an that I had also done some research and that this is all a fraud. He quickly hung up an said "have a nice day". What jerks, they were very ride and had a very heavy accent.

This number has been harassing me at work! The guy sounds like he's from India with a strong accent.  When I told him that he needs to call my personal phone he said NO I talk to you know!  Once I hung up he called 20times in a row and is still calling....
I answered again and he said that he was with the FBI... My response was Your with the FBI??  And he said I am not dumb like you, you are a fraud and this call is to get you for your fraud!
I have no clue what he is talking about and he was extremely rude on the phone and since I share an office with others I was not going to try to handle this over the phone with some crazy person!

These people keep calling me and threatening lawsuit jail time!  For debt I did not incurr.

I got a call stating that Jeff or Jim Foster from Goodwin attorneys office. He has very hard accent middle eastern I think. What boggles me is that they can not tell you exactly what fraud you committed and with what company. Why should I get money to them when they can't provide proof!!

I had gotten this as well! You can e-mail or call the Attorney Generals office & file a complaint! These people are disgusting!

I just got this call from these people. Whatever you do! do not believe them. It a total scam. hang up the phone Do not give them any money!!!
