Relative giving out my number for collection agencies to call

It was a guy named Zach Simons, calling from Delta Management Associates, that just called from this number. Very elusive and wouldn't get to the point with regards to what he was calling about.

Called, did not want to state his name, but wanted my name and social security number.

Got angry when I questioned who he was.

Did some research, this is a company that collects debts that do not exist, have been fined twice over the last years. Apparently that does not help.

DELTA MANAGEMENT, debt collectors:
They lie, play games, and are simply deceitful in trying to collect. One day they are nice, even polite and seemingly helpful, while the next they are rude and threatening.  

Do not rely on what they say or proimise, GET IT IN WRITING FIRST.  DONT AGREE TO ANYTHING ON THEIR PROMISE THEY WILL SEND  YOU SOMETHING.  You are better off waiting for Mrs' O'Learys cows to come home.    They may say "don't worry,  all our calls are recorded" but good luck getting a recording of your call later when it turns out they lied to you, or they might tell you that only the incoming line is recorded.  

I dont know if they buy the debts they try to collect upon or if they are directly retained but they do not seem to be  too concerned about following the FDCPA (Fair Debt Collections Practices Act)

"Manny" called and asked to speak with someone who supposedly worked for the hotel. When I asked his name, where he was calling from, and what kind of company it was, he said Delta Management, and that he couldn't disclose with me the kind of company he was calling from. Really? If you are calling from the supposedly "professional" company, you would tell me what type it is I.e. Debt collectors. I informed him that if he could not tell me I could not forward his call anywhere. So he said he would call later. To his small pea-brain I am the only person here that answers the phones, so It would be quite obvious when he called the next time from an unknown number. By this point I had already turned the phone number into the police department. He asked for the human resources which we don't have.. I told him not to call anymore, and that I turned the phone number over to the police department, and that should he call again I would be letting them know he was harrassing us! Then called the number he called from to have our number removed, and the lazy snatch at the end of the phone who wouldn't give her name (operator) wouldn't even remove our number! We will go rounds, and I will win!

These scumbags keep calling my office, (sometimes early in the morning), looking for someone that IS NOT HERE.  I keep telling them that I never heard of that person and they keep calling.  They suck and keep wasting my time.  Business is so bad that when the phone rings and we think that we have a real customer, to only be let down by this waste of time, is frustrating.

This is a collection agency that wants you to verify your info with them, I refused to give them my last four of my social and date of birth and said if they wanted to verify they could tell me the last four and I would tell them if they were correct. He refused and got ugly. I'm sorry you want to verify and it's for your customer you are collecting from them you give me some info first. I am not divulging who I am to anyone. After I told them I was not comfortable giving my personal info to them he said they must verify, I said go right ahead I will tell you if your right. He then proceeded to ask me if my month of birth was correct I said no, he asked if my middle initial was correct, I said no. I do not have any outstanding debts how you linked me to this number is beyond me but you are not to call back again. 3 weeks later here they go again calling my work. I have had it and reporting them

They keep calling me. Calling from blocked lines too. I have had it with the harassment, and evasiveness. They are rude and refuse to tell me who they are with unless, I give them my SSN etc. which I absolutely refuse to do.  They too have called my job which I will not tolerate. This must end.

They call my Mom's cell all the time, so I answered and when asked personal information I just hung up. They called back, using the number 678-421-6672 and I was shocked - it was the same person. What's this world coming to! The numbers are obviously fake.

Received a call on my cell#, 866-441-1957, I do not have a voicemail box set up, so they could not leave a message. They immediately called my desk work#, from 866-441-1957 again, and left a voicemail.
It was a Jose Franze leaving a message for a George Matthew. Said it was imperative that I return the call at 617-660-3225.
I called the 866 # first and found out that it was for Delta Management. I then called Jose back at the 617 # and told him that he just left a voicemail for a George Matthew. When I told him that I was not sure how both my phone#'s were linked up to this George Matthew guy, he apologized and said that they are working off a public records listing, and my phone#'s were the last linked to this guy. So, my next concern was how did George Matthew get both my personal cell#, which I've had for 9 years now, and my work# which I've had for 11yrs! Jose apologized again, and confirmed that my phone#'s would be removed from George's file in their system, but just wanted to verify that I have never known or presently know a George Matthew. I do not! I guess we will just have to wait and see. It honestly sounded like a phishing scheme to me, but time can only tell.

Ken extension # 5901 called my work and wanted to know work information and number of one of my relatives. Would not say where he was calling from. He kept insisting that "I need to help her". He knew about my husband too, and knew him by name. He made it seem if I did not not give my relatives number that "I would n't be helping him help her". I did not give my relatives number.

Delta Management showed on caller ID. Some lady left a message looking for someone with the same last name, but with a first name of someone who doesn't exist in our family. Waste of their time and our time.

they will not tell me why they is call me

Some one keeps on calling my cell number and leaving messages for John R. That's not my name.. I am a woman. First call came from 603.285.6496- it was a woman named Morgan Williams she left a message saying it is extremely important for her to speak  to John R and John R to give her a call at 855.282.5983 ext. 6496.  But how did she get my cell number if it's not listed anywhere? I am not relatively linked to John R. I just know him.. This was strange to me.
The second call came 2 weeks later from 617.660.3200. This time it was Carlos Suarez leaving a message, again for John R, to call him back at 855.282.5983 ext. 690.
Then I found out online that its a collection agency Delta Management ( Scientologysts, but away) .. No wonder why they act that way. Rude!
If they call again, I will report them!

The irony here is that for the past 15 year, debt collection companies have been popping all over the planet trying to collect on fake debt, real debt, fake people and real people!  One day they are call under one name, the next day they call under another; and debt collection companies sell off old debt like it was a new debt, as if it was a stock commodity!  THIS HAS GOT TO STOP! Laws need to be passed so as to stop the harassing phone calls. And in the world were 98% of all debt is unpayable, companies just need to accept the loss as a part of doing business besides all debt is covered by insurance meaning these debt collection companies have ALREADY been paid; the debt has been paid off, and 100% of the people that they are trying to collect from are debt-free and free-and-clear of all erroneous debt. Last point, never-ever answer an unknown number -- no matter if its a business, home phone or cellphone because once you "answer that call" - you have given that debt collector easy access to continue to call you back but the call for you or not. Those reps are paid to sit on their [***] and dial calls all day long; the more they call, the more they are paid whether the call is legit or not! This is why we have caller ID, this is why you have voicemail... if the call is real, then the person leaves a message. Furthermore, many landlines and cellphones have "line blocking features" -- turn them on... use this free service to get the debt collectors off your back. Just stop answering unknown calls and start report that bad practices of debt collection companies. It is time to put debt collectors out of business one and for all!

617-660-3200.  Told me to call back to 866-441-1957. Edna Culley. said it was imperative that I call. It's not gonna happen. Got a suspicious call yesterday as well. These calls are coming to my work desk landline.

I really wish they would stop. I just finished school and yes I took out loans but I have all of them in order and in check.  But of course I'm not perfect but one did get behind and was place on the creditor list or whatever its called for 3 days and only because of the mail sending out my paper work to my original loaners. I was taken off the list but they are still calling me and its been 3 months half the numbers that were listed in previous message have called me the 6176603200 is a new one. When I saw the number I knew it was them and didn't answer.  Everyone's statements are true as to how they treat you when they talk to you and they don't give ANY information about them but only that they are delta managements.  

I too was contacted by someone from this number (not long after responding to an online ad for a used car loan.

Two calls arrived simultaneously.  The male asked about contacting a person with my last name.  I did not know her number.  I know her family.  That would not help; they do not have her number.  Their target's husband is a domestic violence case.  No one can contact her (rescue her).  Just as the first call closed, the second caller, a female, called saying they had a deal she needed to pick up.  I suggested that we wouldn't mind to hear news of the missing person.  That pretty much ended it.

It is a sad situation to get calls like this.  I hope these people do not wish anyone any harm.
