Another annoying phone call, if it's not Comcast it's some other nuisence. No one answers. Do not call list is a waste of time.

Got a call from this 617-778-0549 on my wife's cell today.  She passed away on 7-26-14 and everyone who knew her got the message.  There's been no incoming calls except from telemarketers.  This appears to be another.  I'm dropping her cell phone line
this week.

Per the  message left on my phone from this number, it is Social Security Disability promoting a website for "NTI".  NTI supposedly funded by government to provide "work from home" jobs to the disabled.
So, my question is, if this is legit, why isn't SSD contacting the disabled personally?

They left a message that they are authorized by the Social Security Administration to provide job opportunities for the disabled. Since when does the SSA leave phone messages? Everything I've ever gotten from them has been via US mail. This has to be a scam

The Social Security Administration does not make soliciting calls to anyone or emails anyone whether they are on disability or not, they send mail thru the USPO service to recipients who are on these programs, do not give any personal information  out to anybody from this caller, this is a scam wanting your personal information, turn this number into the social security administration and complain you are getting these soliciting phone calls and want to know or verify this phone number is there's?  (617) 778-0549

Received several calls from 617 778 0549.  When I answered the first two....there was no one on the line.  David T is correct.  If the Social Security Administration needs personal information they always send a mail request.

What the de with this SSD REPS trying to assist in finding part-time work. I am tired of these calls

I told the person on that, and she said she couldn't send anything, but can come to my home. I told her no.
