- Nick| 3 repliesThis number has been calling me all day telling me that I didnt pay on a loan that I had taken out. I have gotten rude with them only bc they have gotten nasty with me. They tell me they are going to call my manager and I will lose my job. I know that this is a scam but I would really like to know how I can get these people to stop calling me. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
- Caller: Can't understand them
- Brittany replies to Nick| 1 replyScam, scam, scam. A man with a very heavy accent called to say they have a lawsuit pending against me and quoted the last 4 digits of my social security number. He wanted to transfer me to a number so I can make a wire payment to prevent legal action. I asked him the name of the company, he said the department of Massachussets. I told him I knew this was a scam and asked him to hold on so I can transfer him to police department so he can file his report. He said f--- you and hung up. I notified the BBB, the FTC, and the police department in 617-807 jursidiction. I was advised by the police department to also notify my long distance carrier and report this number as as annoymous caller.
- Debbers replies to BrittanyThere are 2 of them that call me all the time. The 1st one is next to impossible to understand over the phone, and he says his name is Mark Davis or Greg Leboski. (yeah, right!) his supervisor's name is Simon Hawk. They have called me repeatedly at home. 2 months ago they told me (in messages on my answering machine.) the he was a federal agent, and I was wanted as the leader in a check fraud scheme. (I drive an old car that's barely holding together, and we also lost our apartment for not being able to keep up the rent.) When that didn't work, they started calling me at work. One day they called 200 times. Simon has a garbage mouth, and he's called me, my boss, and anyone else from our security department words I can't even print! If they were legitimate, they'd never talk like that to a debtor. I filed a complaint with FTC, FBI, and our local police.
- DENECE720 replies to NickI told him my fax number and told him to fax me forms that I have signed for a loan, told him "you have 10 minutes to have that sitting in my fax machine tick f&%*#t&g tock" he hung up. I recalled him once again giving my fax number and told him to send me proof, he called me rude and aggressive then proceeded to tell me that it was "illegal" to send financial documents over the fax machine. I informed him that my name was on a DNC (do not call) list and would happily forward that to him and that him and the other {blank blank} scam artists could go jump in a pit of snakes and not to call me again. He told me he was hanging up because I was aggressive and hostile. He terminated the call, I called him back to remind him that I was on the DNC list and not to call me again, he yelled at me to stop stalking him. haha. By the way........... they still call. The first time they told me they were with Texas Department of Law and Order, the second time they were with a law firm, this last round they are with a legal agency collecting on bad loans. I have had printouts from my bank for the past 2 years, I have had no loans or monies in my account that I cannot account for.
How does one make them stop. Stalking them is getting old.
