Its Verizon Wireless

It may be Verizon, but they have been tod by me that if I don't recognize the number, and they don;t leave a message, I just ignore them. if it was an important call, you wold leave a message.

I don't think this is really VZ Wireless, because they keep calling me, and I've never been of their customers. This is some kind of a scam.

This IS a Verizon number.

Doubt it's legit...I seem to remember a scam that they "say" they are from Verizon Financial Services  (see other similar sites and complaints) saying you owe them money.  Funny thing is, I'm on auto-pay, so it's total b.s.

Its Verizon, pay your bill.

It is Verizon, they always call if you're bill is overdue.

This number as well 617-849-9758 & 617-830-4490 are scam numbers. Although they call and say they are Verizon....Verizon cannot account for them.
After receiving 4 calls in one day without any messages, I started calling them back.
Verizon will unlikely be sending billing inquiries from a 617 number...and caller ID would hopefully say Verizon.

VERIZON told me it wasn't them...so they are wrong or some piece of S%*& punks are trying to scam people.

Scam, scam, scam!! I'm on auto-pay and I've been getting these calls and they are not from Verizon! They are scammers trying to get credit card numbers! I know after reading these posts that they will definitely be getting some of your credit card numbers! Wake up people!!!

calls  everyday, no message left, i dont pick up.

Total SCAM. I have received calls every day from 3 different numbers. One of which is the one you mentioned. I cpick up and it is a automated message. I hold on the line for a real person to talk to, when they talk they say I am over due on payment. This is not true as we have automatic payment plan. Then they don't know what to say in response. I called them out and asked if you are scamming me and they hang up. They still call me using different telephone numbers. All saying the same thing. NEVEr give personal info to anyone. If in doubt call Verizon directly not from a cold caller.

Block the number

It's a scam. I called vzw. They have no record of calling me. My phone call is disconnected after "I entered the wrong zip code"!!!!

pain in the [***] 3 calls within 2 hrs BLOCKED now. Not VW my bill is paid

These numbers call me literally 3 or 4 times a day,  early morning and late afternoon.  Pathetic.  They never leave messages or anything and it's rather annoying.

It's verizon wireless calling cause your payment is late.

Calls all the time  and the messages  are static

I got it too but it's verizon telling to pay my overdue bill.  probably should before they shut me off LOL
