i just got a call from this number o.O answered and it was silent

i got a call from this number. denied it and then called back -- the call was international and didn't go through for some reason.
I don't get it.

I got a call from this number, too, and missed it. There's no information on it other than that it's a landline in Andover, MA, and when I called it back, it said my call couldn't be completed as dialed?

I have a missed call from this number on my Sprint smartphone

showed up in my missed calls. didn't bother to phone back, but looked it up as its rare for me to get phone calls from folks not in my address book; and especially rare for an unfamiliar legitimate caller not to leave a voicemail.

Saw this number in my missed call, so I googled it up.

Got a call from this number on Aug 10 at 12:26. They hung up when I answered on my Verizon Blackberry. When I called back Verizon said my call couldn't be completed.

just got a call also at 12:35 pm on my sprint blackberry. weird.

I just got the same thing on my At& T cell phone--showed up as +1-6179786798, ran twice, when I answered it was dead space. The "+" really threw me, I'd say it's international.

Wow I cannot believe how many people this number has called I just got one too.  A single ring.

Kind of obnoxious considering how it looks like I am the 14th person today.

I wonder if this is a war dialer looking for modems or to see which numbers are active to build a tele-spam list.
