Received a call from this number for someone named Shane. It was automated, had 3 options; 1: If Your Shane press 1, If your Not Shane and he is not available to come to the phone press 2, If your not Shane, but you can get him press 3. I have heard of collection agencies using this tactic. Where no matter what number you press they pick up and continue to assume your Shane.

We have had this number for 15 years, there is no Shane here.

received an automated call from this phone number. claimed that my sprint account was overdue. i had just paid my bill, so i knew it was bullsh*t. i called and reported the number to sprint, i will report them to the attorney general asap.

Haven't received another called, but decided to check up on this. We nolonger have a Sprint account, not since the Sprint/Embarq split a couple years ago. And we nolonger have an account with Embarq anymore either. We switched to a local company, Fidelity Communications, last year. So they couldn't have been calling us for an outdated account, plus no one lives here by the name of Shane and we have had this number for 15 years.

And we have never had a cell phone through Sprint; Alltel - yes, Cingular/AT&T - Yes, Tracfone - Yes. But not Sprint. So either they called a wrong number or someone gave them our number in hopes of deceiving Sprint.

It is bogus.  This was a man's recording calling about a number not even on my account.  He is fisching for credit information.  Sprint has the same woman's recording they have had for over 15 years.

This is a legit Sprint collection call, they even leave their 1800 number to call back. It's because your Sprint bill is past due and they're going to start shutting off services. I get this call every other month & have for at least a year. It IS Sprint & they just called me.

If you had just paid it, then received the call, it wouldn't have known. I get the same call. It's legit. Report away, this is a real call.
