Have gotten 2calls from this number blocked the number no one I know.

Called twice, once in each of last two days. No message left; no one available when I answered second time.

Got  two calls from this number with no voicemail left...  all within a few days of each other.  no idea who this is!

It belongs to Cox Communications.

This number keeps calling me at work and no one ever answers!  They call at least 3 times a day.... Pal get a life and stop getting off on bothering people at work and home LOSER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cox cable collections department. They will annoy you until you call them back and pay your bill! Oh and they will charge you "convenience" fee too!

I believe this is a scammer that uses multiple ploys including saying they are a collections department.  Hope the person who posted that they thought it was Cox Communications didn't pay anything.

It must be a scam. My Cox bill comes out automatically, on the due date, every month. I don't owe them anything so the caller isn't getting one red cent out of me!

This is Cox Communications.  They had called me earlier at work to ask me why I ordered only internet.  The call cut out and now they call me at all hours of the night and day.  I don't have my account set up nor do I have the internet set up yet...it has only been three days so it can't be the collections department yet...well I could believe you if you said it was, ugh.

Got a call today from this number saying it was Cox wanting to see how my Internet was working and he could offer me cable at $9.99/mo for one year. I'm like yeah right. No deal is that great. It must be a scam. He didn't even know where I lived which is not in Cali even though I have a Cali area code.

I got a call from this number 4 months back took them up on their 9.99 offer for cable have had 9.99 cable so far. Theyre a third party promotion department for cox cable. And no its not a scam. I called them back for internet service they hooked me up with 50 megs for $37 for a whole year got locked into that price for over 2 years now..

Calls daily 1 up to 4 times a day. I have no idea who this is and they never leave a message so I blocked it.

They told me they were with Cox Communications. Cox said the number is not affiliated with them. Scam scam scam scam scam scam

It may be from connect2compete, they did hook me up with internet service from Cox Communications for $9.95/month! They never leave a message, so I don't answer; but yes, they called almost every other day for the last two weeks. It annoyed me enough to do a reverse look up today and I found this site. If they want a call back, they need to leave a message. Blocking them now.

This is not a scam. It's a third party marketing company for Cox Communications. I got a call from them offering 9.99/mo basic cable for a year. The thing they don't tell you is the package only includes channels that you can already get for free over the air! So.... yeah, I'm cancelling that now....

You don't think that charging 9.99 for something free is a scam?        Right!   In my book that is a nuisance calling scammer.

Same story for me however I do not have Cox cable. Be careful
