Same as pat says... SCAM... it not even a real person calling but kind of a digital recorded message.

Called and left a VM initially.  Ominous tone said to call like the message that Pat above said.  1st time I called I got a busy signal.  2nd time I got thru and a heavy accented (Spanish?) voice said something I couldn't understand, so I asked what she wanted.  She said she was from the Internal Revenue Service and blah, blah, blah.  None of which I could understand either.
I replied with that she was not the IRS and that I was going to turn this number in my State Attorney General's Office.
She promptly hung up.  So, WATCH OUT and turn them into the California State Attorney General's Office.  I will try and do so myself.

Same here as all of you. A man with a operator accent called claiming he is an officer of California with the IS and an attorney or my fiance has to call back or he will be arrested Monday May 4th and I asked what? Wait who are you? He doesn't owe any taxes ! And etc....then I proceeded to let him know he was unprofessional he cut me off yelling he will got o jail Monday and good luck and hung up. I then call back and said I will report him to the police he hung up and never answered again. I told my fiance and he brushed it off and said he was a scam! I am making a report today!

Same as everyone, for me or my attorney return call before criminal charges be brought up against me. And stated good luck if they don't hear back from me.
