The Sanderson Group at 1-619-756-7401 solicits money for charities.  The California Attorney General's office indicates in several cases that very few of the $$$ raised ever make it to the charity.

Someone keeps calling a few times a day. They never leave a message.
It is very annoying.

I keep getting calls from this number but they just hang up....they never say anything. What is this number?

I did not answer the call, but my caller ID identified the call as from the Sanderson Group, which I understand solicits contributions for charities, which we will never do over the phone.

This number has called our home phone 2 times and hung up on me as I said "hello".The last call was  this past Saturday, October 1,2011 around 10 am. VERY Annoying!

I received a call from them two times, the same day. CRAZY!! when I answered I said "hi" and they said "bueno" and then I said "what" and then they were like "hi" and then they hung up....Pretty weird!!! And I tried to call back and do the same thing!!! BUT THEY NEVER ANSWERED BACK..........

They call to my phone and then disconnect. I got also a weird phone call today from a company with aun not discolse caller ID, and I told them that I do not answer phoje calls from calls not disclosing their numbers.
I habg up. I am not sure if there are the same people.

No, it's "The Sanderson G", at which point it cuts off because of the display limit on Caller ID.  As others have said, this is "The Sanderson Group", which is an organization that solicits for charities.

I have gotten some calls from this number.  I never pick up and they never leave a message.  The caller ID just says "California".  I guess they are getting sneakier and hiding their name

I got a call from this number.  The caller ID was San Diego CA.  I called the number.  The answering machine says  "the number you have reached is not in service.  This is a recording"   huh? They just called me. They are trying to make it sound like the phone company is making the announcement.  I think they are just faking it with their own answering machine, so they don't get return calls!

This number called on 5-11-12 at 6:48 p.m. When I answered no one the phone.
When I called back there is message saying that thi number is not in service.

Calls and hangs up when I say "Hello".  Very annoying.  I don't know why they would hang up??

Comes up as Sanderson Group on my caller ID. I answered, a woman asked for my husband, I said he  was not here. I asked who was calling, she said a charity for "the blind" and she would call back. I then called the number back, it's not a working number. Can't even block it. This area code is for San Diego CA.

Real phone number where Gary Sanderson will answer is     (619) 291-2113 . I just spoke with him. They are calling from a phone bank. I requested that my number be removed.

We just got a call and they hung up before I could answer. They must have an outbound WATS line as when I called it back I got a recording something to the effect that, "This is a non working number." The fact that one of the first posts here says that they checked with the Attorney General's office and that their records show that :

That's enough to tell me that the Sanderson Group probably doesn't check out the validity of who they call for... or maybe they just don't care. It's also enough that when I see the number from now on, I won't bother to try to answer the phone.
