Repeated calls, no message

They called my cell and didn't leave a message. I called back. It's Charter Communications. They are my cable company and I recently downgraded my service to Internet and phone only.
At first, I  assumed they were calling to upsell me and get me to resubscribe to cable TV;however if it was a targeted call, they would have called the number they have on file and not my cell. I'm guessing it was a random telemarketing call.

Three calls already. One yesterday, one early this morning and one this evening.

I had charter and canceled it last week. If it is Charter then they should get a massively bad review. They've called me 6 times since Thursday... Getting rather annoying.

I recently upgraded to the triple play with charter. However this number did not know that. Claimed to be with Charter and asked me if I would be interested in any upgrades or deals that they had. Told the lady I have the triple play, she thanked me and hung up on me. Very Very odd and suspicious. Charter would know what I subscribe to...

they have called twice.  It was some type of survey with Charter Cable.  I said nothing and hung up.  They called again the following AM.  

Just posted last night about Charter (623-223-5564) calling me to the point of harassment--morning and night-- and guess who called again this morning!  They said they just wanted to see if I was happy with my service.  I told them that they call me to the point of harrassment--they have called me at least five times in the past few days both morning and night, but they have repeatedly called me from other numbers, too.  I have never given them this phone number.  I was told today by the person who called that they would remove me from their call list, but it would take 45 days.  I responded that it had better stop now or I would report them to the Attorney General, and also said that they should not contact me from any other phone numbers, either.  They will probably call back again tonight.

This number calls me AT LEAST once a day(twice today) and never leaves a message. Apparently it's Charter Communications(my internet provider). They used to call me from (614) 516-0454, in case anyone else gets calls from that number, it's them.

I've been getting at least 3 calls per day from this number for the past 2 weeks.  I've ignored each one as my policy is, if it's important they'll leave a number and I'll call them back.  Extremely annoying and way over the top even for telemarketers.  I do have Charter internet and got a call from them about a month ago offering a bundle.  I told them I would think about it and when he asked when would be a good time to call me back I told him not to call me back, I would call them if I wanted to change anything.  Got a call the next day and told them I wasn't interested.  Random calls for two weeks and now persistent calls.  Would love to be able to report them to someone.

These people call me every day, sometimes twice a day and never leave a message.

Same here....  So glad to see all these posts. I thought I was going crazy.  They call my cell, they're calling from a landline so you cant 'block' the calls.  So many times a day, it's frustrating.  I stopped answering after a couple of days, but it's still irritating. I even called back and the person says hello and then hangs up.
CAN WE REPORT THIS TO ANY OFFICIALS??  I'm calling Charter tomorrow if that's who everyone thinks it is.

They've called my cell several times lately, even though I'm on the no-call registry.  Sometimes it's a robo, with no one answering.  Zachary Grebel of Charter is how he identified himself.  I insisted on being removed from their list, and he said that could take 45 days!!!!    Not supposed to use obscenities here, right?  I never, never contacted Charter until today, when I called them for ID and to get off their list.  I've never communicated in any way with Charter, and I will try to get them burned via the no-call registry.

I spoke to Charter customer svc., they stated the call is not actually coming from them and it's an outside telemarketer. Their telemarketing calls come from an (888) #.  Dont quite understand an "outside" telemarketer.  Anyhow, Cust svc is sending me in the mail a form to fill out to OPT out of any future telemarketing calls from (623) # or any #.   Whether it will take 45 days or more, not sure.

(623) 223-5564 keeps calling me 4 days a week for the past 4 week.  How annoying...i do not pick up any of thier call...i block the number from cell phone but u can still see it as an unavailable call in my call history.

I don't have Charter and this number has called me 6 times within the past week. I don't know how they got my number BUT, Charter has also been contacting me using number which register on my phone as only: Foxboro MA, Bristol CT and Phoenix AZ. Extremely annoying that they keep calling and I don't even subscribe to them nor have I ever subscribed to them. I have never even contacted them about any type of possible service quotes. They don't leave messages and I refuse to call back to any number that doesn't have the common decency to leave a message. Plus, if you can't even be upfront enough to put your business name associated with the call, then I won't answer my phone.

I have never answered any of these calls since I have a firm policy of not answering numbers that I do not know (if the matter is urgent, I would expect that they would leave a message or something and then I would call back). But this number has been constantly calling me 2-3 times a day since the beginning of January without leaving any messages. I thought if I just didn't answer they would stop calling. But they haven't. Today they just called me two times in the past hour! It is honestly getting very annoying. Every time I get a call from them I just want to shove my crappy flip phone down the garbage disposal. But I'm glad I'm not going crazy and that I'm the only one.

This also isn't the first time this has happened. I have also received constant calls from Charter in the past from 614-516-0454 during January and 773-945-5674 during in December. It's like they switching their numbers every couple of months. I always think the problem is gone - after calling me for a couple weeks, they stop for about a week - and then BAM! A different spam number starts calling me. I don't know how to stop from doing this. If anybody has a solution to this problem, it would be greatly appreciated.

AHHAAAaaaa, the Free Call Blocking Service has finally caught up with and added this scammer to their list and now has these jerks blocked. We also have a Panasonic Call Blocking Phone and need not add this free blocked scammer to our phone... the free service now has them covered... NEAT!!!
Because so many good folks telephones are being invaded with unwanted scam/spoof callers, several good folks have setup a free call blocking service. On the Internet, Google  “free call blocking service” and see what is available, you will be glad you did. You can also get your own “Call Blocking Phone” and call-block all those unwanted callers. We laugh each time such calls ring our phone and are blocked and then exclaim, “Thank You.”

They are calling my direct business extension which is an unpublished number. Once yesterday and once today. When I answer, the line is kept open for a few seconds with no communication then disconnected.  I called back and confirmed that it was Charter.

I keep getting these call . no message left. very annoying
