I have the same # coming up on my phone. It's just Cox!!

It's Cox the cable company calling.They call if you miss a payment.

This is a SCAM call - COX does not call you and ask for your account info.  I checked with COX before giving out any info and confirmed that this is NOT Cox.  BEWARE.

They never said they were from cox they just left a prank call on my answering machine

Got a call from this number........I answer....all I hear is "porno" type music.  No voice, no person....just bow chica wow wow music.

It's Cox Communications.... They call when you are 10+ days late on your payment.

If this is a cable company- why are they calling people in Montana?  COX communications doesn't supply service here.

Cox only calls from 602 numbers. I dont know how they get your info but I hadn't made a payment for two months because I had a large credit on my account. This number called and asked for me. I told her she had the wrong number, so she asked for the other account holder and I told her he wasn't available but she could speak to me. The first huge clue that it was a scam was that she wanted to take a payment from me, even though I claimed not to be an account holder. And then when she said I owed over $200 and that they hadn't received a single payment from me since january, I knew she was wrong. I told her the account holders already sent in a payment and hung up. Immediately I called cox and they said I still had my credit and that Ive never missed a payment and they also told me that THIS IS NOT A COX NUMBER! They reported it to a supervisor.

Definitely Cox. They left a voicemail saying they wanted to speak with us, referred us to their website to log in and see the status of our account. We're not late on our bill, but I think we need to turn the cable box back in or something. Not a telemarketer or scam, anyway.
