calls and hangs up

When I call the number it says American Pay Setter a third party verification company,

Called and hung up.

The recording says they are a market service company that does verification for free trade publications. Makes sense since I signed up for a couple of free IT magazines.

they continue to call after requesting to have the number removed on their answering machine as nobody answers the phone. I left a message stating I would sue them next time and recommend you do as well.

May have something to do with survey.

Have received a phone call from this number, no message left.
They called me at work, I don't have a clue as to how they got my private line at work?

I don't remember ever signing up to receive a phone call from them, and believe that they should be stopped.

Keep getting calls from these idiots and they never leave a message. Get these calls daily.  Don't care who American Pacesetters are. I do not recall contacting them, so there is no reason for them to be irritating me on a regular basis.  this is a business line and we have a clear series of protocal on our message line.Like if your a solicitor,and we didn't contact you, please don't call. Don't go away mad, just go away.

They call me 2 and 3 time a day never leaves any messsage. Getting sick of it

Got a call today looking to speak to my boss. I asked what they were calling about. They mentioned it. They also asked to speak to our Department Head. I told the caller to send email with what they were calling about. I was told by the caller they are not authorized tosend to either person they were looking to speak to without that person's permission. I mentioned to the caller that the individuals they were looking to speak to do not answer these calls. They said they would make a note that the individuals will not speak to them.

Got a call from 623-2386442 again today. They called my boss. They asked to speak to the Department Head when they could not reach my boss. I asked what they were calling about. They were calling about a web seminar on the 14th. I asked for them to send an email about it. They said they could not without speaking tot he individual. I told them the Department Head will not speak them them. I told the person today that someone had called a coupe of weeks ago about the same thing. The person I spoke to a couple of weeks ago apparently did not bother to note their records. The individual I spoke to today asked for 2 other people and said they would call them.
