Received a call from a person claiming to be a process server from California (although area code is Phoenix AZ) looking for a person we have never heard of and sounds fake.  She had my and my husband's names and said that we were listed as references for this person and that she was trying to serve legal papers.  She said that they would remove our names. Very weird and only gave vague answers when asked.  Obviously some sort of scam or identiy theft con. There are other similar stories on other websites. I called the number back and a message states that the magic jack customer is unavailable.

i received a called from the same number and they are claiming that i have a legal matter and that a sheriff was going to serve me papers. They are calling way from arizona and i am no where near that state and it is very weird to me and they got me and my husband's names and phone numbers and when i also called the majic jack voicemail comes on.

when the call I say "hello" they say "hello"? like they can not hear you then hang up, call the number right back, magic jack blah blah blah...... get a real life or job or something besides being the scourge of ALL MANKIND!!! a debt collector???????? with magic jack??????? BOGUS BOGUS FRAUD!!!!!!!

We kept getting calls from "UPS" at this number.  Husband finally answered and they said they had a legal document for a "Tonya Adams" (not me) and when would he be home.  My husband asked me if I knew this woman (I don't).  I told him if they call again to inform them that he is home all day and that he has just reported them to the FBI.  Have a feeling they are trying to target when we're not at home.  Fortunately my husband works from home and is going gone a short while each day.

Called but left no message.

Same as the other folks - process server needs to have someone (not us) call and give case number DR 320 06. Caller ID is UPS. Obviously a phishing scam

This person called my cell phone 4 times in 45 minutes. They asked for Ruth Livingston. They asked if someone would be home to accept legal documents. when I informed them they had the wrong number they told me that she gave me as a contact. I don't even know this person. To make matters worse I think this Ruth Livingston person is giving out my cell number because collection agencies have been calling asking for her for some time. The calls have gotten less frequents, matter of fact this is the first call for her in a while.
