- Don J.Don't answer! It's a scam 'credit card rate' call.
- David| 1 replyI received a call from this telephone number advising me they were from quote credit card services unquote. They did not identify themselves as being with any of my credit card companies but rather were very vague in there recorded announcement their options were to speak to a representative to find out how I could reduce my credit card interest rates and all they had to do was press number one. There was no opportunity to press another number to be removed from their call list so I push number one to talk to a representative directly to ask them to remove me from their call list. When the call was answered in one of the countries overseas that calls are routed to probably India maybe Pakistan the representative was very short and very rude when I asked to be removed from the calling list and I was told to go f*** myself.
- Caller: They refused to acknowledge what company they are calling from

- JacqI wish we could get fake bank account numbers, etc. that the government sets up so we could use that info to give scam callers so the FTC, FCC, et al could "follow the money" and possibly shut these scams down. Certainly cannot get to
them through phone numbers and the do not call list means nothing to these groups. We haven't had credit cards for 12 years. I'd like to screw around with them, but want in the mood today. Added to auto reject list, along with the many others. - Jack KaufConsumer Services pre recorded message saying this is your last day to lower the interest on your credit cards. THIS IS A SCAM!!!! Do NOT give these SCAMMERS your credit card number. They claim they get your telephone number from Experian and say you have good payment history and such which qualifies you for a lower interest rate then they ask for your card type and number They then ask for the expiration date on the card explaining that this only works if the card has a valid date then they ask for your card number, your date of birth, last 4 of your social security number and your zip code....everything a scammer could possible need to fraudulently use your card! They never asked me my name! They even want the customer service number on the back. Do NOT, I repeat, DO NOT give these clowns your credit card number! They will put you on hold why they try to get you statements. They will then transfer you to a supervisor who will ask for the first 5 numbers of your social security number. They then transfer you to the real bank (they 3 way call) hoping you give the password and verify your information with the real bank while they secretly listen in. They can't even get the name of the cards right They call Master Card Master credit card and they call BBVA Compass BBVA complex
I always take these calls, give them a an expired card, a fake name and DOB and the real customer service number. I love wasting these idiots time while they try to call the bank on an expired card LMAO
Don't waste your time reporting them for a do not call violation as I'm quite sure the number is spoofed.- Caller: Consumer Services
- Bill replies to DavidI just got a call and the lady was very hard to understand and wanted me to verify my last 4 digits of the card and expiration date. I hung up and immediately called back and got the " this is not a working telephone number" recording.
- brendathese freaking scammers have been calling my home phone and now my cell. I think all the credit card companies are selling out our phone numbers because it just stated with my cell when I recently opened another new credit card account and didn't put my home phone done only my cell number...so this is what you do - get a whistle or air horn and blow right into where you speak into the phone....LOL. It's very satisfying!!!!!
- Caller: credit card services
