They call all the time and never leave a message.  When I answered the phone I heard a female voice say something unintelligible and then she hung up.

hrmm i've been getting the same calls from the number i just don't pick up but they keep calling back... wonder who it is

They call me all the time too, usually in the morning. Yesterday he asked for Mary. When I told him he had the wrong number, he tried to talk over me, yelling "MAAM, MAAM. MARY, PLEASE."
They called again this morning three times but I hung up.

Its Discover card

I get 3-4 calls a day from this number and they never leave a voice mail message.

My family and I have been terrorized by Discover for several months now. A card was fraudulently obtained and then used in my name. I learned about this from a credit report. I have completed the police report etc. but Disover is now calling me wanting money. We have been threatened; I have been accused of "not paying my bills"; and they have demanded to know where I am (from family members). I have reported them to the FTC.

I just got a call from them...no message. I do not have a Discover card. Are they trying to solicit business?

Phone rings several times a day, either they hang up right away or a female voice recording asks you to hold, then hangs up after a few seconds.  Aggravating!

I know the area code is supposed to belong to a part of the State of Arizona---but these clowns are actually calling from INDIA---HOW FUNNY--- Discover has actually farmed out their aged accounts to India---how cheap are they?! Wanna have some fun with jugdish or Fatima or whatever their real names are? get an Airhorn---after your 'message' their headset a few times with one of those babies--they will stop calling or go back to their famous automated calls---LOL. give it a try---it always works!!

623-643-2790 calls about every third day. Nobody is ever on the other end. It just hangs up.....

It is the discover card collections department, even if you miss one payment they will call you - it was nice for me because i normally pay the full balance each month and the lady was very nice to wave all late fee's and phone fee's

They called my WORK number. So I think it must have been a wrong # or random dialing as we just got a new phone system here with all new #'s and I have have not given this number to anyone yet, not even my family!

THIS IS A SCAM!  They show on Caller ID as Discover, but when you return their call, you are asked for your FULL 16 digit account number.   This is not a legitimate credit card company practice.

After contacting Discover directly I was informed that there is absolutely no reason they would be calling me -- A) I'm not the primary on the card, B) there is no delinquency on the account, and C) there is no suspicious activity flagged under my name.

If anyone calls you for something like this - THEY should have your information already.   DO NOT give personal or financial info like this out over the phone unless you have contacted them at a verified number!

They call me many times per day. We need to report to FBI to stop this calling.

When these jerks call you back, just call the main switch board at ( 224-405-5649) and explain to the secretary what has been going on and you need to talk to someone. She was nice enough to switch me to a voice mail to leave a message. Oh yea, the company is located in Riverwood, Illinois.

Spread the number around. If enough people call and complain, perhaps they will stop calling us poor sob's.

They have called me about 7 times today. I had finals at school and the called relentlessly. I answered it once and it was a man asking for "Amber" no professional calls and asks for my by first name. I have never had that happen before. I answered and said that "she" was unavailable and she would be later on tonight, then I asked what it was regarding and he hung up on me. They have called three times since 5 pm.
I actually panicked a little and went online to pay my payment for this month (which was NOT late).
