I keep getting calls from this number 3 times just today. Anyone know who this is and why they are calling?

Called me just now too -- no idea why, and no message left.  Call from "Cell Phone CA".  I'm in area code 978.

It was someone wanting for me to renew my subscription to Rachael Ray magazine.  It had cell for a caller id and they wanted my credit card and bank account number.  Sounds a little fishy to me.

Called me asking if I liked mt Natural Health magazine and they would give me 70% off the subscription if I signed up for 56 issues, then the guy said "here my supervisor to verify what I am saying is valid". The so called supervisor wanted my credit card or my debit card number, and that point I said to send me an invoice so I would check their call. But I am not renewing this magazine through these people!!!

Just called my cell phone asking for my sister- hung up once I told them that I was not her. Asked me who I was and hung up once I told them I was her sister.

I called the number back and it goes directly to a voicemail offering to opt out after 72hrs if you press 1.

guy was trying to renew my subscription to maxium magazine... and tried to pick up on me, by the way!

started last week and is getting worse. They are a bunch of chicken [***] that don't even have their number traceable. It lists as some number from Alahambra, CA. My next call will be to the D/A.

wow!I feel so much better now! Ive been getting the same calls..apx. 3 times a day, and had no clue who it was.......was thinking the worst!

man said not to accept any offers from any other magazine subscribers, because i was paid up for 5 years. i asked him what magazine he said any that i would like.  he said i was spending $2.99 a week and when i asked him where the money was coming from, he hung up.  when i called the 626-273-8235 back, i got a recording to be taken off there call list with no other options.

They've called me 3-4 times a day too, it's VERY annoying.  I answered one time thinking if I did, maybe they'd stop calling.  They lady was EXTREMELY rude & basically said "You'd rather pay $X than go with our special deal", I said "I don't even know if I want to renew in 3 years when my subscription is up!"  She was very pissy & ended up hanging up on me after basically telling me that I was stupid for not taking her up on this deal.

called and left no message. i don't answer calls from phone numbers i don't recognize.
on other websites that have reports of un-wanted calls, the phone shows as belonging to US Weekly, life insurance, auto insurance, credit card, debt counseling, among others.
they ask you to verify your address and other information and when you ask them to tell you what they are showing, their information is wrong.
obviously, this is a scam of some type!

Answered the phone as ____ Police Department, how may I assist you.  Never got another call.

I have received 6 calls in 2 days from 10am morning to late night 9:45pm. No messages ever left. This is annoying.

recieved a call from this number asking for my husband, I asked who was calling he said "Bob, with a follow up call" I asked where he was following up from and he said "I will just try him another time" and hung up.  My husband called back and pressed 1 to opt out, but we'll see

Got called from this number several times and no one ever talks.  It is just random backround noise.

Been calling several times a day-never talked to a person. Will try to opt out. Thanks for the warning on the credit card numbers. I am 734 area code

Three calls on my caller ID.  No message.

Call me today.  Told me he was calling me to make sure I knew if anyone called asking to renew my sub I should because I already am receiving them.  He gave me my address and asked to confirm it.  He asked which kind of card I have and told him.  He wrapped up the call there and said his subvisisor will call me back breifly to confirm his work.  She called back and she started asking for information now and I started to respond with "yea's" and "uhhuh's" so she would not have me on tape saying "Yes." I then asked her what she was trying to sell me and she said, "I was trying to tell you this because you kept giving me uhuh's" and she hung up on me.

Thanks for posting here...  these caller id's have hit several times today... I finally answered and could tell it was an out bound call center because of the delay in saying hello back..  I'll use the police dept. response and see what happens.
