Got a call from 626-384-3265? I received a call from one of my family members work someone saying if i don't call back I will have a lawsuit against me.... you cannot harrass my family members and not identify who you are they said the number belongs to a Michael Carter

I also received a similar call and they said there was a suit against my SSN.

I received the same call ,that there was a lawsuit against my SSN.caller had an accent .When asking him of his name he said he was a paralegal.
Has anyone figured out yet what this is all about?Not to mention how do they get our Phone # Home or at Work.

I just got a harassing call from this phone number and they wanted information from me and gave me no information about them.  I gave them nothing.  It seems like a scam.  The voice seems generated and the name they gave me on the message was David Clark.  The guy told me that I better call back or terrible things in my life would unfold.  OK. Thanks!  :p weirdo...

got two voicemails from a Gary Jones (person had a accent though)...stating that either me or my lawyer needs to return this voicemail or he feels sorry for me. WTF??????

I just received the same thing... and its a cell phone? The only thing they would tell me is that they are in California and that I have a lawsuit in my name and SSN... Can you say scam?

I got a call from this number. The only thing i could pick up from the voice message was that i have a lawsuit against my name and SSN. I called the number back and wasn't getting through...mail box was full. Who are these people?

I too got several calls this morning from(626) 384-3265 starting at 4AM saying I need to call Mark Robinson at The Department of Legal Affairs and Investigation and do not disregard the message, also called me the male version of my name, so they obviously don't know english, this guy had a heavy arabic accent as well.

we too had a caller just a few mins ago, with all of the same things. he had a very heavy accent and has used harrassing words that if we didnt call back it would hurt you? something to that affect!!! very scary!!!!

I have received the same phone calls this morning on my cell and my boyfriends cell. Very heavy accent and said his name was Daniel Owen, I think.  Same threats, who could this be???

Someone called my work number claiming to be Michael George from the Department of Legal Affairs & Investigations in California When I called took me sometime to get through. The person who answered the phone said let meread off to you the case against you..... Then he said something about cashadvance usa. I am assuming if any of you have applied for an internet loan that may have been the way they received the information, he did not finish reading it off since he hung up on me.

Same situation received two very threatening voicemails from a woman with a very heave asian accent saying if my attorney didn't call back immediately all she could do is wish me luck with the "trouble that was about to unfold" I called the number back and a man said he was from a legal office and he was going to read me the office document that would be sent to me regarding me court hearing for money I owed for an "unpaid" loan. I told him I had never heard of that company and I didn't understand, and his response was "well I don't know the details" and hung up. I DID NOT give them any social security or bank info. but to be safe I called my bank and placed a monitor on my account.

We got a call from this number that said they had a lawsuit against us and where going to send a Shierff out to my husband work to Arrest him if we didnt settle !

very hard to understand the message but something about I need to contact them or have my legal person call them when I call the nuber disconects.

They call me 10 times a day and leave nasty messages. I call back and no one answers. I am so sick of it! It has to be a scam!!!!!

Make sure its actually your ssn.  They have been calling me for a month and left this stupid message saying if I didn't call back with my attorneys info there was nothing else they could do and best of luck to me.  What is that?  I called about 10 times each time getting disconnected.  Twice I got thru and all they kept saying was they were the dept of ?? and what was my attorneys info.  Finally they said is your ssn_ which it was close but not mine.  The lady said oh my oh my gosh and we were disconnected again.  Needless to say I didnt call back.  These calls are long distance, I have not received anything in the mail or an email and pretty sure do not owe any outstanding payday loans so..... Best of luck to them.

I got the same call started yesturday. They gave me my social security number but I didnt tell them that it was correct. Told me I was going to be arrested & wanted my lawyers number. Something about "cash advance " on a illegal account, I couldnt even understand what the hell the woman was actually saying. The first 3 times she called me she said her name was LISA BROWN, then I called back & she said her name was MICHELLE BROWN. I started to say she was absolutley nuts, when she said quit playing with me & hung up. She answered the phone by saying Internal affairs. Said that I would go to jail. She even went as far as knowing where I worked, my email address. I dont know who these people are but they need to be stopped. I plan on changing my cell number tomorrow.
