I typed the wrong number in my comment above...the call at 2:08 PST was received from 626-771-0198 as were all the calls listed above...and NOT from 771-0196.

i got emails from the guy and he called me about adopting his two yr old daughter named nina. he is planning on sending her here tomorrow. can someone email me and tell me what is really going on... boobu.peanut@yahoo.com
he found out on baby center that i wanted to adopt and posted on there that he was giving up his little girl. he emailed me saying her mom died in a car accident and that he is sick and needs to take care of his buiseness.  should i let the authorities know maybe he has a kidnapped child he is trying to pass off to me

i went on google and was looking for a puppy. i saw exactly what i wanted and e-mailed this person back. we e-mailed eachother several times regarding this puppy i wanted so so so bad. i gave him my # and he called, teling me when can i send him $175.00 for adoption papers for my dog, well when i did ask him questions, he really thaught i was stupid enough not to pay attention to his answers, i heard someone in the back ground giving him answers to my questions, and when i told him i could here them he said his children was home and they were watching tv behind him (yeah right)i asked him for his tel# and he gave me a number that made no sence what so ever...this person has my name job# cell# and my home # as well as my home address, i will trully hurt someone if they feel the need topay a woman like ma a visit...i did call the # that came up on my callerid as so many people have said in thier notes: my call can not go through due this caller being outside my calling district...(f***ot)

I just received a recorded message from 626-771-0198(I couldn't make out what credit card), but it stated that my card had some possible fraudulent charges and my card was being suspended until I verified my number.  I tried to push "0" and talk to someone.  Of course, it kept telling me to enter my card number, which I didn't.
After I hung up, I tried calling the number back, but a pre-recorded message said the number couldn't be connected to because of where I was calling from.  Another example, I think, of someone trying to conduct ID theft.

I got a call from 626 771-0198 and it was a recorded message from a bank ststing that my card has been temporarily suspended due to a third pary compromise, then said to re activate my card I needed to punch in my 16 digit credit card number, at that point I hung up the phone.

I'm from KY. I got a call from this number last night at 12:45 AM--yes in the MIDDLE of the NIGHT--something about trouble with a card and asking me to enter my card number. Whatever card they said wasn't a card I have anyway. I kept pressing "0" hoping to get a person but it didn't work. Hung up & tried to call back & got the "this number not available in your calling area" message. I do get calls for people who used to have my phone number but a call like that in the middle of the night, had to be something fishy....
