I got call from this number claims they are irs...irs will never call you for anything

Even I know IRS would never call. The recording sounds like a really slow mellow woman recorded voice advising not to disreguard but to call a specific officer. Better yet it says have your attorney call.  Sweet.  Maybe I'll do just that.

Claims to be a special agent for IRS. I sent the number to the FBI. He did not like it when I told him I recorded his number for the FBI.

GOT A CALL FROM THIS # STATED THAT THEY WERE THE IRS.....A SCAM OF COURSE

they called and claimed that I owed back taxes from 2010-2014 the amount and stated I had thirty minutes to call back with the money they need or there would be a warrant out for my arrest when they called back they then said that I couldn't tell anyone about this and if so they would send my information right over to the authorities and I would be arrested within thirty minutes. then they called back and stated that they couldn't accept a credit card or check but to try and go to a Kroger or walgreens and do an itune card.

Recv'd a recorded vm at work from this number. The message said it was the IRS and not to disregard the message. Called and reached a man, Jerry Spencer. He said he was in charge of my case file and after an audit of 2013, 2014 and 2015 tax returns they found I fraudulently tried to steal from the IRS by misfiling my taxes. He became extremely rude when I began to question him. Threatened me with the police, fines and jail time. When I refused to agree to any terms he hung up on me. I called back and he told me to NEVER call the number again then he hung up on me a second time.

Just received this call while sitting here at work, And it's barely audible what the person is stating I just could make out the phone # and i have never known for the IRS to contact through phone, nor with such a tacky voice recorder.

I received the same message twice today on my answering machine,    she said her name  was Heather Graham.

They called me saying that if I ignore the call action against me is going to be taken. I need to have my attorny call them or else .

Don't panic! It's just a scam! I"ve already turned both the number they call from and the callback number to my State Attorney General's office. I've dealt with scammers like this before.
First of all..The IRS would Never contact you by phone...it's a Law that there Must be Paper proof that you owe them money.
They would Not be having a female Robo voice calling you to give you a second number to call back..Thirdly, making a threat of you potentially being arrested if you do not comply to return their call is Actually illegal !

My first encounter with a situation like this, had me almost in tears....this was Not IRS...it was something else...they Knew A Lot of information sbout me also! They went as far as to call my elderly mother who lives in another state over 1000 miles away from me, and upsetting her by telling her if my debt wasn't paid  I would be going to jail! My sister and I collaborated with all of the info I had, and all of the info our mother had written down, I sent all of it to my State Attorney General, and my sister did the same in their state.
And we each reported it to our police departments.
I got a letter back from my Attorney General.
These scammers are not even IN our country, thus  them telling you not to pay by check, debit or credit card. They want you to buy a loadable card st walmart or someplace, because those numbers can't be traced as easily. As far as the phone numbers, they generate numbers with software over computers...so they are harder to find too. Their number may look like they are calling you from California, but they physically are Not their, they are in the Phillipines or some other country! Just like the ones who do the Catfishing online!

Just do not answer the calls ...do not call them back....eventually they WILL get tired of calling!

Our numbers are being computer generated to a call list ...whether we are registered on the Do Not Call lists or not!

I received same call claiming to be IRS....they wouldn't be calling. But I have a question...I've been receiving many strange calls since I've gotten Messenger on my phone from Facebook. Has this been the case with anyone else?
