nasty vulger phone call

Didn't pick up - no message left

Said something about a credit card. I don't have a credit card and I already checked my credit report this month soooooo..........who are these people? Comes up as Illinois on my caller ID.

got this on my caller id and cant find out who it is....anyone?????

The Do Not Call Registry doesn't work. Its a joke. I've been on it for several years. These folks just keep calling me wanting surveys credit card discounts and all kinds of annoying calls just trying to get your personal info so they can steal money from you. Isn't modern technology wonderful ?

The cell phone Do Not Call registry is a joke.  I continually get calls from this telemarketer.

They just called me, too. I keep filing complaints with the donotcall registry because it's a recorded message when I answer. They aren't allowed to robo-dial. I don't answer any more. I'm not wasting my cell minutes on some crank call.

Whenever we get random numbers like these, we just pick up the phone & immediately hang it back up.  We used to try and be cordial to these telemarketers and ask to be removed, but they just continue to call back with different numbers.

Oh, and please don't waste your time filing a complaint with www.donotcall.gov because they do absolutely nothing!  You would think they would contact you to let you know the status of your complaint, but nope......I think the site is bogus!

I hit '1' to get to a person. a guy answered and when I asked what company he was with he said 'taco bell' -- i said that the call was talking about credit and he said yes, its a new service were offering to deliver to your home. when i asked for their address he said he was in tokyo What BS.. these calls come in several times a day..

I have had two calls today from this number and there is no one on the other end.  Go one call yesterday also.  Has anyone found out who the number belongs to?

I received a call from this number, but no one was at the other end. But here is my suggestion as to what to do with these calls. When ever I receive one of these calls (and I receive about one a week) I save the number and then save the name as "Scam" that way when my phone rings and I see the word Scam I dont bother picking up the call

Got a call from them yesterday too. They said my credit card was about to expire. Do not call list - yeah right. I tried calling them back and the recording said no one is available to call back later.
