Saying I owe a payday loan and they want to settle for $300.

I got a call from this number today they told me I owed for a payday loan I never got. I told them to stop calling me at work they than said oh your at work that's good because we aee going to garnish your wages. I told them to go ahead and try because I have all the paperwork from my bank showing I never got a payday loan. And I told them to rake me to court. They than said oh you want to go to court I told them yes. So after that they hung up. This is not the first time they have called my job. They also called my daughters phone looking for me. And they continue to call my cell phone. I am getting really tired of it. I want to press harrasment on them. This needs to stop...

I got a threatening message from this number 630-693-3000.  There is a motion to suspend my drivers license

Got a call saying I owe a payday loan of 350. I never applied nor received. They said they were going to garnish my wages. I told them I don't know of the company cash advance USA and stop calling me. The call came in with a caller I'd of KIP. Weird.

I have been receiving calls from this number above and also a company named Del Ray and Nationwide Arbitration and threatening to arrest me or calling leaving messages that they will be coming to my place of employment or my home address to serve me papers. They will also tell me I better pay them or else. They call so much and I have every voice message saved showing how many times they will call. What can I do legally? Could I get them for harassment? Please help me. I received another call from this 630-692-3000 saying her name is ms eve and she left a message saying I owe $987 and they will settle for a one time payment of $237 she did not say which payday loan it was just that it was a payday loan and if I don't settle they will do a wage assignment. Any answers will help

Got a call saying from this number...the lady said her name was Ms. Grammy and told that I was up for wage garnishment...asked her for what and she said she had to transfer me to a supervisor...then a guy answered that said "Security"...He then told me I owe a $300 payday loan from 9/2013 they have sent me numerous letters, emails and even sent the sheriff to my house and I never responded.  Told me that I now owe $1200, could not tell me the name of the payday loan place said that he wasn't sure what company I used, when I asked the name of his company he told me they were "A recovery Agency" but would never tell me the name.  The scary part he knew all my info...home phone, work phone, address, he even knew the name of my bank.  Told him to send me info so that I could look into it because I had no idea what this was, he told me he would not send anymore info they had mailed me enough letters, he said the next step is full payment now or garnishment.  I hung up on him.  

Just got a call from this number.  A woman left a msg telling me to call her about a $1500 wage assignment.  I have gotten so many calls like this from a variety of numbers.   The last one I got was so threatening I called my local police and gave them all of the information.  This needs to stop!!

I received the same call today from the number 630-692-3000 and a women started talking fast and couldn't understand her then she transfered me to her "supervisor", Charles Avery. He was rude and told me that they are from Second chance financial and wanted me to verify all my personal information. When I said I would not they started threatening me with having my wages garnished and my license to be suspended. I never have taken a payday loan out. This is complete harrassment and ridiculous.

anyone who has received this same call. Has anyone actually had their wages garnished after getting this phone call?

No... but they never stop calling

Same thing as everyone else.. threaten to garnish my wages.. suspend my license..
I told them to contact my attorney.. they are scammers! Don't give them any info or money.. they had the last 4 of my social.. bank acct and license. But couldn't give me the full acct numbers.. but for security I closed all my accounts

I got a call asking me to pay 500 and has all my information and i have never had a loan

I got a call today also from an unknown source ...using this number 630-692-3000.....he stated that I owed 1,085 to Advance Pay.....A company that I have never done business with....I told that if didn't pay that legal matters, suspended licence and other fees would be charged...I asked if he could mail this info to me and he hung up

Got a call from them today.  Said I owed a payday loan, never had one.  They are also 100% illegal in my state (NC).  Threatened to garnish my wages (Also, cannot be done except for child support/taxes in NC) and suspend my drivers license (HA!).  Told him to send me documentation, was told he no longer had to send me proof, told me "be careful driving" and hung up.

Bogus, scam.  Fun to mess with though.

2nd chance financial  called me 630-692-3000 saying i  was getting 25%  of my check garnished 3rd party advance cash flow . They  had my social number; my bank, and my first and last name.
the female on the other end of this conversation gave me an ip address of 70.178.235.16
i hung up on her. Guess i will just report them to the local authorities. Ridiculous how our society has become... greed, dishonesty and scams.  And this is a modern world?

Scammers; they have some information such as my bank's name. my social and my email address
too  much... she was requesting more.
If they persist on calling  i will have another party listen in.. go to court and sue them.

Just got a call saying that she was with the "Hardship Payment" department and wanted me to give her my banking info. in connection to a default payday loan.  Threatened to suspend my driving priv. and garnish my wadges.  I told her good luck with that, I don't have any money and I don't know nothing about a payday loan.  I also ask her to provide me with information as to who that loan was with, she said that once it gets to her desk it is only a case number. So I asked, how do you know who to send the money to once someone pays....her reply was, it's sent to a different department....Okay, I guess I'm to believe that.  DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE ANY INFORMATION!!!

Just got a call said I owe for a loan but the funny thing is she kept putting me on hold n then she couldnt even tell me the company name but said they tell u to save ur records  for 7 years so she thought I was gonna give her my info. Not.
