I have gotten 4 calls in less that 2 hrs from this number. It's a recorded message and its a male Indian voice who says that he's Steve Martins and he's calling from the US Treasury about apostment actions about my pension. Ignoring this will be a Federal criminal offence. Help us to help you. I called the local Police department to complain and that I worry about the elderly falling for this. They advised me that they knew about this.

Yep, just got a call 5 minutes ago. I have an answering machine that picked it up. The same message as previous poster. The recorded message repeated 4 times on my machine.  I also have 2 similar messages that claim to be from IRS, originating form a 202 area code number

Left a message on my voice mail, too bad or I would have
laughed my azz of at "Mr. Martin from the treasury "  Hahaha!!
Blocked this number because of course it is a scam.

Attention People : The IRS, Any  Government Agency or Treasury Dept

This hindu moron who said he was "Steve Martin" has called me twice today. He was babbling on about the treasury department and my pension and if I don't call him, it's  a federal offense, blah blah blah. I don't know why I have to pay AT&T $82 a month when my phone has to be unplugged half the time due to telemarketing b.s.

I would love to carpet bomb all Indian call centers over there, but since that is (regretfully) not an option, I blocked it.

Same threat from treasury dept

I just used a couple of 4 letter words asking this AH who the hell he was. He kept saying my wife's name. Idiot
File a complaint with the AG (Lisa Madigan's office. If you are in Illinois)
There's an online form to fill out.  Just Google Lisa Madigan's office or your states AG and file the complaint.
If everyone did this, it would at least shut them down for a little while.
Unfortunately, its us older adults who sometimes think this is legit ( we lost lots of brain cells during the 70's ).
I love yelling at these guys, but the fun is over when they hang up.
Next one who calls, I'm going to play along and tell them I can only deliver the money in cash so they have to meet me. That's when the real fun begins!!! :)

Got two of those calls within the past 5 minutes.  Definitely a foreign accent.

Received several call from this number today, insinuating that a failure to respond would be a criminal offense.  This group needs to be expunged.

I got the same exact message as everybody else.  These people are relentless!!!!

Steve Martin called me too.  5 times in one day.

I just picked up a voicemail with the same threats as the posters below mentioned.  

We got the same message twice yesterday and twice today. It was very annoying when I was checking on my answering  machine, all I heard was this guy's voice over and over again.
I don't know if the police is going to take action.
