Don't know who called

I got a phone call today from this number, 630-894-0625.  Some Indian dude who had my name and phone number.  He doesn't identify a company, but says he is with a Windows7 organization and says he that my computer has been infected and that he is getting messages that indicates this.  I know it's a scam right away, but he continues on.  I ask him how he got my phone number since I am on a no-call list.  He says he got my number through my IP address.  What an idiot.  I read that this is a popular scam and that people actually give their information and the caller takes over the users computer.  Do not fall for this scam!!

Just got a call no one answered and I said hello 5x, someone needs to shut these scams down

Indian guy saying I had a security problem with my conputer.
The guy was posing as a Microsoft technician.
I assume right away it was a scam, but I went along.
After a while he passed me to a more qualified person.
I eventually told him that I would get a technician to look at my problem.
By the way I'm a programmer of 30 years exp. I own 5 ligit licenced and updated PC.
He hung up saying 'A ok you got a technician to help you. bye'

Haha, same thing, but honestly I use it to vent my everyday frustration. I tag along with their lies then try to figure what type of person they are and then just start being the rudest person I can be, swearing, yelling, making fun of them..... at the end of the day, it feel good. I don't feel bad at all considering that they are the ones trying to steal from you...... good times....

I got the same call today, saying they've received info that i'm downloading malicious software. I asked them "since when did you receive the last message?" they responded with "about a month ago", i laughed, since i haven't touched a windows computer at home for about 2 years now as i bought a mac...

Tried to call them back, a robot operator said the line has been disconnected...

That's a great idea. I never thought of that. We could really mess with them. Maybe get them to have a moral dilemma. Maybe go along with them and when they ask for info, look them up and give them their own. Maybe record the call and tell them you recorded it. maybe pretend not to understand whatthey're saying and waste their time.

Next time I get a weird call I'ma look up the number on this site so I know who they are.

He also called me today, 5 minutes ago, I asked him who he wanted to talk to and he presented himself, blablabla. I told him to [***] off!

I received several calls from this number.  They called at midnight.  No one there when answered.  It is a scam.

I received a phone call yesterday and it is an india guy too and he told me that my computer is about to crashed so he is going to help me to fix but i need to open up my computer coz he need some information from my computer. I already have a feeling that it is a scam si i said i dont know anything about computers. He said he will call back tomorrow which he did call today. I didnt answer the phone.

This number called me but somehow hang up before I answered - maybe because it's long-distance (I am based in the Netherlands).

Just got a call from the number and it is 9:40pm. These people need to learn to tell time or better yet just not call.

Got a call at 7:30 AM.  Ask for me by name.  Indian guy identified himself as being with some "Windows" company and said that their system indicated someone was trying to hack into my computer.   He asked if my computer was on right now and when I said, "no" he told me to turn it on.  I was rushing to get ready for work and the early phone call just made me so mad.  Immediately suspected it was a scam so I told him to "forget it - I don't even know who you are" and then I hung up.  Got the number from *69 and googled it, which brought me to this site.

So infuriated.

just got a call from them. My iphone showed me it's from IL, USA so i didn't answer as this is the 4th random call from US I've gotten since yesterday.

3 of them are from NY, this one from IL.

I just got this call too!!!!! I looked on the google search and there's a whole page of "SCAM". When I told that Indian dude what I saw on the google search results about SCAM, he hung up on me!!!!  lmfao lol

I have been getting all sorts of calls from different numbers the last one was this one.  I dont answer them but this is ridculous get a life and keavr peoole alone.

This number called about a new kitchen and removal of the old one. The suggested pressing 2 if interested and 8 for removal from their calling list. Third call today.

No way Jose who knows what the cost would be answering their demands
