JOHN MATTHEWS WITH a  super thick accent calling my job. he called like 2 times, these people need to get cut and punish.

Please stop calling my phone talking about a legal matter if this a legal matter please send me some information on this legal and I can check with my lawyer to see if this is really a major issue and then I will talk with you another wise please don't don't call my phone again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

John Matthews called me today. Wants me to call my friend who is in "big trouble" because she took out an internet loan and is not paying it back, which is a lie. This is not the first time he has called.

I received a call on my work phone from "B.J. Watson" from _____ Law Office.  His accent was very thick so I couldn't make out the name of the company.  He claimed that I had 3 counts against me; check fraud, something mumbled jumbled, and violation of federal banking regulators (not regulations).  I do not recall violating any regulators.......

If I called them now, this would all go away.  They will help me because "this matter could make you lose your job",   "is degrading", and they will help me out because I am a "like-hearted person".

All this help is out of the goodness of their scheming scamming hearts. Don't fall for it!!!!!

Supposedely, this is a law firm representing an internet cash loan service, Cash Advance America, I think & they are trying to collect a debt from the loan service. I got a call from Robert Becosba and when I called back, I spoke with "Keith" who informed me that a judgement has been taken out against me and I could either pay them or settle it in court. Which by the way, they couldn't tell me anything about without checking with the loan company first! What hey don't know is that I work for the justice system and when I asked for the necessary information so I could do my own research, I was rushed off the phone & I haven't been able to speak to anyone since.

I got a call from them saying that they were asking for over 500 dollars for a payday loan from advance cash america which is not a company that i would ever take a loan from and the guy had a very thick talking where i could not understand him and they said there was a legal matter with involving my personal information they are just asking for money do not belive what these people say

Scammers!!!! American names, foreign accents so think you can't understand a single word. Some kind of payday loan. FYI, it is against the law to threaten someone over the phone while trying to collect ANY debt of lawsuit. Also, it is against privacy laws to give your personal information to someone answering the phone other than you. I have no debt!!! Cash Advance and Advance America do NOT know who these people are and they only use two collection agencies to collect any past due debt. These people keep calling under different business names, numbers, and states. Inform them you want them to cease and desist all contact, report them to your local authorities, BBB, FBI, and the Attorney General in the state of which they are calling from. Last time they called they were stating they were calling from an attorneys office (I can't remember the name), which was a legitimate attorney who did adoption and family law proceedings. I called them to inform them that they had these scammers using their name. If you can get the name of the business they supposedly represent and google it. If it is legitimate, but has nothing to do with debt collection, call and report them there too!

Stop calling my work you f'n [***], i don't know who the hell you are, but you better stop. and hire someone who speaks english, stupid [***].

i got a call from a guy by the name of max wayne. i made the mistake of giving them my account number. i have since called an attorney to give me some good advise.
1 get itemize of debt
2 document of debt
3 send me information in the mail

Just hang up on them.  They cannot get into many of the accounts they think they can.  Bunch of [***] using VOIP through internet connection to make the phone calls.   Gonna call the provider tomorrow and file a complaint with NY Attorney General if they will take it.  Play them if you feel strong and they will hang up

stated that it was in reguards to a friend of mine... i told him i did not talk to them anymore, he insisted on talking to my husband, as he was listed too... i took his name and number. "Romeo Wills","3613150202", "Internal Department of Financial Fraud Investigations" -what a joke! i asked if this was a government agency, he said yes, however my caller ID said unknown instead of "STATE OF", or "FBI"! it does however make my blood boil to think they may actually get a scam over on some unsuspecting, innocent, decent person!

P.S.~ he was foreign as well!

I don't know this guy is, but I do know that he is a pain in the rump.  Calling multiple time while at work.  I do not owe him anything.  I called the FBI and my Senator, they both said that there is a 98% chance that he is a FRAUD from India.  They told me to Hang Up on him and report every incident to my senators office.  I was advised to call my local police but that was useless.

There is nothing the local police can do to stop these idiots from calling..when these people are getting caught they change their phone numbers and start the ps again. Don't even talk to them. They call me different times and different guys same heavy accent and cussing on my phone because I told them that their scams are never gonna work. They kept calling my work and my cell phones. They finally gave up because when they call I put my cell phone against the rock and roll song that no one wants to hear.

Brandon Smith, 631-315-0202 stating he is in the Financial Fraud Investigation Department continues to call my office.  I work for the State of Texas, I have told him numerous times to NOT call this office number with his HEAVY accent.  You really cant understand what he is saying because of his HEAVY accent and almost inability to speak English.  He will not stop calling and he continues to threaten me.  This needs to stop

I'm from North Little Rock, AR. and the same thing has been happening to me also. The foreign guys that can hardly speak english gets very ugly and are just plan rude. They clam that I took a cash advance out online, which I would never do. I as to speak to a manager and he became very angry and said that was not a opption. He also begain cussing at me. The scary part is he does have my SS#.
I work nights and some times he calles 6-10 times a day.
This all started back around May and stopped for a few months but now its back to the same thing. Calling several times a day. The number he leaves to have my attoney call him back 631-315-0202 is not in service, go figure. The number he calls from is just a 5, or 0.
He tell's me the same thing that I'm reading that he tells the others. I have committed a fraud and I am  going to be sued. How do we make this stop? It's annoying, frustrating, and I sick of him waking me up. With all these complaints you would think there would be something we could do.

I also got the call about a (real) friend of mine who needs to call him ASAP. It's unfortunate that we are all reporting the same harrassment but there is no resolution. I feel bad for people who have to deal with this on their work phones -- they call me on my cell so at least I can change that if needed.
