I have received calls from this number daily and no one is one the other end. What is going on? It is really annoying and I would like it to stop!!!

They are not authorized from the VFW.   The VFW does not do phone solicitation.

Called 2 days in a row, don't speak when you answer

very persistant. She wanted a pledge for $ 25.00. I said mail me the info and I will look it over. She went on saying its from the VFW and these men are coming home with missing limbs and wheel chairs.She kept on talking till I had to hang up on her. I donate to many charities but I am not giving her any information about me over the phone. I already was a victim of identity theft and now I must be careful.

Every couple weeks. It says Riverhead NY but another source shows the 574 exchange is actually related to Dix Hills, NY and that this is a landline. We have 'Do Not Call'. Caller needs to be reported.

They call, but don't leave a message.

Called I said Hello, they hung up.  Called back and got a recording that is was the VFW, I say a scammer. REPORT

When I told the woman on the other line that I have already done several donations and was unable too at this time she kept being persistent on lowering the donation price. when I finally raised my voice at her and said that its amazing that they dont listen she hung up...how rude. I called back and got a recording and pressed 0 to speak to an operator. the line hung up...so annoying!

They call my house without end (631-574-4394), never leave a message, never anyone on the other end of the phone when I answer the call.  Call that number, a message without way to leave a message. I filed a complaint with FTC and will pursue it further. It is bordering on harassment.

Annoying - no one there when I answered, sounded like faulty technology trying to connect after 10 seconds.  Hung up before I heard more.

Please stop calling my home home! Very annoying! Called 6 times yesterday and once already today. Thank you!
