- Nick| 2 repliescardholder services to lower your rate. Beware, it's a scam!
- Caller: cardholder services
- Call type: Telemarketer
- Stan| 3 repliesGot a call, call back and it's a non working number, wish I had a tool that would only let working number to my phones. Scam people never have working numbers. I keep a card in my wallet with fake info when I get a 2nd call and I have the time I keep the real person on as long as possible. 32 min is my best and it ended with the person calling me a "Dumb son of a [***]" then a FU. I just smiled and hung up the phone. God has a funny way of rewarding us.

- Vinnie Victim| 1 replyHi boys and girls,if you are getting these scammer calls, I have some bad news for you,you are now and forever on "the list",no,I'm not referring to the silly, worthless,"Do Not Call"list,I'm talking about the "Mooch List",aka as the "Sucker List"or "Victim List".If your landline or cell phone has ever been called by a robo-dialer,and you answered "hello",your phone number was moved to the "mooch","sucker","victim"list. It is being sold, traded and otherwise shared by thousands of these low-life,bottom-feeding scammers all over the country and around the world. You can complain to the FTC,FCC,FBI,NSA,CIA,and even Hawaii 5-0 all you want, but these are lists you will never, ever be removed from. You are now and forever in our little club."Until you change your number, then answer "hello" to a robo-dialer,then it's deja-vu all over again".

- RecI asked the stupid lady that called what company she was working for and she said "ACA" .....America Credit Assistant. This is a scam. I've gotten too many of these callers. They will ask you for your credit card number and if you are a moron you will give it too them. I argued with this lady and she is stupid and totally believes she isn't working for a scam. Whatever. I hung up.
- SMCWhat I've done (and I get a call per day from these A$$holes) is to disable voicemail on my cellphone. I know quite well that it will never discontinue, as they use a different spoofed number every time (I had probably 300 "do not accept" numbers stored and finally got fed up). There is nothing you can do. By disabling voicemail, they cannot get a "positive" answer from me, or use any of my minutes leaving the robo-message. Sucks, but we gotta live with it.

- slarueGot a call from this number today (just now) but didn't answer. I don't work for the company or have anything to gain from sharing this info, but I am really liking the WhoAreYou app on my phone. The call popped up with a screen that told me this number has been reported as Spam, and allows me to answer it normally or add it to a "Ditch" list, so that it actually won't ring through to my phone anymore. Callers already in my phone's contact list come through with no pop up or anything. The service is free and there's a kind of awkward-to-maneuver web interface that allows you to manage what happens to the "ditched" calls (mine get a "this number is not in service" message) and some other stuff that I haven't really played around with yet (they have a visual voicemail app, etc). But I do like that I get the forewarning not to answer, and the ability to stop them from calling me again (from that number), which I like a lot...

- Bettie JeanEvery day for the past 4 days I've had to deal with these idiots. The last chick I spoke with, who was as ghetto as the day is long, got all pissy with me when I asked her how she slept at night. "I sleep just fine, b*tch!" Wow, that escalated quickly. I'm guessing I wasn't the first person who knew what she was up to. I too try to keep them on the phone as long as possible, but I'm not as good as Stan. I usually only last about 10 minutes before they hang up. I never know what the limit is or should I say I never know how much to tell them I owe in credit card debt - each call is different. On Sunday night it was $4K, yesterday it was $2K. One time I told them I owed AmEx $60K which made the person laugh and laugh. Oh well.

- BJNJ replies to NickThe FTC is a total joke. If there's one scam, it's the FTC wasting taxpayer money. It would be a simple matter to prohibit service providers from allowing their equipment to be used at a set call rate from a scammer.

- Michael replies to StanIf you have an iPhone you can go to recent calls, select the arrow to the far right of the specific call. It opens to a contact screen. Scroll down and select "Block this Caller". Will not ring phone in future.
- TW replies to Daddyman41Please do not "Sir" people on the internet. There is a good chance whom ever you are talking to is not a sir and would appreciate the unnecessary, gendered, noun.
