Phone number called 3x today.  no message - called number back - no rings no answer no thing.  The last time they called I answered time and it was an automated machine with a robotic voice stating they were calling from the I [pause] R [pause] S [pause] (very robotic) about fraud and what I was hiding from them and to call them back at that number.  Yes those were the words the robot said.   I called the local Internal Revenue Office and confirmed that it would not have been them that called and that they do not use robo-callers.  This number is a SCAM.

I received a call from them. Its a scammer trying to get paid. The IRS will never call you unless you called them first. All IRS business is handle through the mail. My suggestion is to call them back and pretend to be scared and waste as much of their time as you possibly can.

I answered the call,  it was an automated machine with a robotic voice stating they were calling from the I [pause] R [pause] S [pause] (very robotic) about fraud and what I was hiding from the IRS and to call them back at that number. I did. They answered say Internal Revenue Service and then it quickly disconnected.  I called again.  It was a man with a heavy accent.  The background sounded like a very busy call center. He asked my name.  (I gave them a fake name)  He said that I have an arrest warrant. (For the FAKE ME)  Then he asked if I had been contacted by the local police.  I told him No.  He gave me this an arrest warrant #  0194863939  and  case ID # 783916 . They stated it is for was for a tax warrant. They said they would pass the information on to the local police dept.   I assume so that I can have my "FAKE"self arrested.

I received a call got the same robotic message called back and an foreign gentleman answered I could barley understand him and then proceeded to ask to speak toThe supervisor he told me he was busy i said I want to speak them now because this sounds very suspicious and they hung up. I tried calling back again they would pick up and hang up. And we wonder why the world is going to [***] cause we have things like this that happen unhonest selfish sketchy ass people

this number has called twice today and left messages both times... robot sounding voice that says to call back about an important matter.  DO NOT CALL!!!!

Don't believe these folks, they're calling asking for money as if they are the IRS. They're obviously telemarketers and I had my fun with my phone call with them haha. They're a joke. Definitely a scam

Didn't know the number so I let it go to voicemail. It was an automated message saying " this is an important matter plz call back. There's been fraud found on your taxes." Called back the number phone was just ringing then disconnected. My husband called and he got and Indian man could understand him. They had called back a second time and same message had been left on my voicemail. And again no answer when I called back.

They took 13000 from me and they are a scam

Said "this is the federal government. This needs to be rectified immediately so do return the call as soon as you receive the message."

I received a call on my cell from this number (631-944-9948.) It was a Robot of some sort saying it was the IRS and that I needed to call them regarding fraud of some sort. I called back 5 times and the connection never went through, the line never rang and therefore no one ever answered the phone.  Please look into this scammer: 631-944-9948 in Huntington, NY.

These guys called me on my cell phone and when I called them back they asked me for my name. So I ask them to just look me up by my phone number and they hung up the phone!
Scammers!!!!!!!!!!!!! Do not send them money and do not give them personal information!
